PokerAce HUD vs GameTime
Can anyone make a convincing argument for the purchase of PAHUD?
I currently am using the free version of GameTime HUD, but sometimes it will drop a player for a few hands.... Worth the investment in the $ software or no? |

Also, I recently switched from GT+ to PAHUD. Other things I noticed: -PAHUD is now only $25. It was more when I first looked at it 2 years ago. -PAHUD is so much more customizable. Many more stats to choose to display, more colors & fonts, etc. Trust me. You will NOT be disappointed. |

I'm using GT+ because I had a lot of reliability issues with PAHUD. I.e. the trial version worked once, then never worked again. I've also heard of other people having difficulty getting PAHUD to work.
Never any problems with GT+ though. The main annoying thing is that if you're multi-tabling at 10-max and you shrink your game windows, the information rectangles can get in the way. |

I love it. Once in a while it will not line up the stats on the correct players in pokerstars and it is a bit messy to look at in Fulltilt. You can move the stats around but it is a pain in the butt.
However the answer to your question is a no-brainer to me. It is only $25 so if you get anything at all out of it then it is worth it. It helps me with some of my decisions. Even if the stats for a player are not based on a gazillion hands it can be an indicator of how they are playing at that time. I am always surprised at how many players I have previous stats on. I would never have remembered them otherwise. (And I have never seen GT so can not compare.) |

Apparently PAHUD does not work in South Park...

I wonder how your grammar would be without spell check, probably even WORSE than it is now... |

I like PAHUD. If I'm torn between raising and calling or folding and calling or whatever, I can look at the stats quickly to see how solid the player is to help me make my decision. The customization (so many variables it's nauseating) is nice.

Also helps me keep in mind my table image. Cards were hitting this morning, and my VPIP was at 38, which is full-on stratosphere for me. Because I had APHUD running, I was able to shift my betting/play accordingly and squeeze a couple more bucks outta the guys. Plus, it's just interesting to see hands you have played. 1475 hands with no KK, but AA has hit 11 times. |

Any FTP players with PAHUD having trouble getting it to show up next to the player on the table. It is working just fine for me on Stars and Absolute, but on FT I have to actually click on the player icon to see the stats. It doesn't show right next to the player.
