| Poker Trivia Part 9 I got a short one this week. As usual, the answers will be posted on Monday. They are kind of easy so it shouldn't take long for someone to answer these correctly. 1) True or False? According to poker etiquette, if you show your cards to one player after you fold a hand, you don't have to show your cards to everyone else at the table. 2) Define these terms: a) Carpet Joint b) Case |

| re: Poker Trivia Part 9 Got in too late. Had the etiquette one and the last available one easy enough, but I haven't heard the term carpet joint in a long time. It is the opposite of a sawdust joint, which either couldn't afford carpet, or it was too rough of a poker room, and they didn't want the carpet to get ruined. |

The answer to this is True. "Show one, Show all" is only for a hand in play, or a showdown. The misconception of "show one, show all" has filtered down into Casinos and home games and is thus changing the meaning of the phrase with every poor ruling given. |

I think it's better described as the 4th available card of any rank. I.E.- if there are three tens showing in stud and you need one to fill a straight and catch it as your last down card, you caught the case ten. |
