Poker Tracker Newbie Questions

Hi there

I just bought Poker tracker .
Wich settings do you recommend me to do with a new poker tracker ?
Wich upgrades u think are important ( like game time plus )

I keep Poker tracker running while im playing , right ?
Should i switch off my own stats ? If so where ?

anything else i need to know , tipps , tricks around PT ?

Ok , lets say you own poker tracker and play on inter poker 6 max table 1/2 $ limit .

You play 3 tables . How are you using poker tracker while playing ? I tried to load the players of each table into a game time window for each table but its not really helpful ( more distracting ) .

I used Poker office b4 , and with Poker office you have for example a table overlay where you see the view flop percentage and the player icon while PO is minimized .

Also what are the numbers telling me after i "seated" a player in the game time window ( maybe you can explain it from left to right ) .
It kept me busy adding removing the players in game time + wich isnt good for the game too since it distracts me .

Also - the auto rates can be improoved i think . Maybe you have some good settings for short handed ( 6 max ) LHE ring games .


All this seems to be a science to me .

Oh and i tried ACE hud since i want a table overlay but well , the numbers there confused me even more ( the only helpfulk thing to me was the aggression faktor )

Ps.: Another question would be : What are you doing after a session ? Are you sorting people and make notes ? If so wich criterias( just the icons or profit or .. ? ) and where are you doing this . I ve heard theres a function that allows you to import PT notes to the game room notes . Is that possible at Crypto Sites ? If so , how ?

I don't really understand half the things you're asking (and I know bugger all about Cryptos because I hate them).

The PT Forum is a good place to start looking for answers and there is an awesome in-depth PT guide here.

Do you know if you can use PT at titan poker?

I don't think it supports Titan hand histories. You might want to check on the site though.

Where on the site would you check if it supports the program?

I checked the PT site and it does not support Titan.

For sites such as Titan, Noble and CDPoker - PokerOffice is the program, but it is more expensive and also seemed to mess about with my pc a bit.

Im still not 100% on PT but i have it and update my stats every so often - but to be honest im not sure if it has helped or not. Perhaps if i used it more often, will look at and see if my settings are different.
