Poker Tracker 3 or Hold Em Manager
Poker tracker 3 or Hold em manager? I play a hella lot of cash. I was wondering what your POVs were on which one is better . I'm currently running PT2 but I want the HUD interface as going back an forth to check out my real time table is killer, as the fact that I can only have 10 in play at one time.
Please help! |

I've done witht he 60 Day trial on PT3 sadly and it is beautiful! I've downloaded Hold em manager but I have to do some configs on my laptop to get it working. I think my goal for this evening is to get that working! LOL! Hold em manager just looks so much tastier, how it runs though will be a different story

Try them both, see which you like best. Personally I use HEM because I grew tired of the constant beta updates for PT3 and the HUD slowing down and crashing. However I am still unhappy that HEM doesn't "properly" track MTT/STT properly.

Wow, I'm in the same boat. My PT2 works fine, but I want to upgrade. I play 80% cash and 20% tourneys. HEM is nice for cash, but doesn't do tourneys very well. PT3 does it all, but I just read their forum and it seems like total chaos with the registration server problems they are still having and with the bugs in Beta 19.
I guess I'm stuck with PT2 for a while. |

I love HEM, but i don't play tournaments and i'm pretty sure HEM doesn't track tournaments ($$ wise). The PT3 trial was a joke for me coz it would crash alot and HEM just has FAR more stats imo like positional stats, filtering etc.
Both have trials, give both a go and see which you prefer. And yea if you only play micro stakes (50nl and lower i believe) you get it pretty cheap (and i'd guess that you can upgrade to the pro version at a later stage if you choose to move to higher stakes). |

I have been deen thinking of using some sort of dataminer, but havn't decided with one to use yet. There is another product I found called Poker Edge but I don't think I have ever seen any threads here discussing it, does anybody use it? From the screen shots and demo videos it looks like a really good tool.

I have tried them both and am much happier with HEM. Hud is awesome and you can literally set up a gazillion and one stats on your opponents. So now I play ten hands and spend hours analyzing them (jk). Also was unhappy with the "bug-iness" of PT3
