Poker Table Fight I’ve only seen one incident and it was on my property unfortunately. I’m curious what kind of “scenes” you guys/gals have witnessed? Mine was at my Friday night game this past June. It was a beautiful night playing poker under the pokerstars with only the table lit (imbedded cushion ring light). Perfect night until one mate we'll call “Skinny & Drunk”, heads into the house to relieve himself. As he pushed away from the table and goes to get up he notices a on the ground between himself and another mate we'll call, “Big Frickin Italian”. So Drunk picks up the card, tosses onto the table if front of Big and says, “This aint Farking Right!”, “I don’t play with Farking Cheaters”. Now keep in mind this is a very friendly game. $20 buy in and all these guys do six figures. Now Big is instantly insulted and pissed off. The rest of us are laughing because we know Big had to buy his wife a Coach bag in order to come to the game that night, don’t ask. Anyway, Big grabs Drunk by the neck and draws back to clock him. A couple of us grabbed his arm in time. We talked him out the beating but the game suffered because Big wont come anymore if Drunk is here, and Drunk is firkin funny.

I have never seen a fight at the few poker games I have played in. In the tournaments with $60 buy-in and about 50 serious as it gets players, I had seen plenty of PO'd people who just whined, but no fights.

We played every Saturday night for 4 years at my friends house. Never a problem. He had a big cellar, with white walls. If something happened that you didn't like, or you were bad beat or whatever, he would have magic markers laying around and you could write it, on the walls. By the time we were finished playing {He sold his house} the walls were full. There was always plenty of booze and arguments, but no fights.

I've been playing in this home game for about 3 months like 3 or 4 times a week! Nothing has got physical yet. We have had a few arguments, but don't play for enough to really sting that much. We did have one guy storm out though, he actually came back about 30 minutes later after he cooled down and everything was fine the rest of the night.

re: Poker Table Fight We use to play at a friends house every Friday night, we would play 2 or 3 games for $50 and get like 18 people. Then the guy that was hosting started getting pissed because he played like an idiot and would get beat so he punched walls, threw chairs and berating people for no reason. Then the last few games we had there the pot started coming up short, he was blaming that someone didnt pay or he was playing for free that game because he was hosting blah blah blah, come to find out he would get knocked out go over and play cash and use the pot money to play cash and when he lost 1 or 2 of the buyins would stop playing cash. So then I had him over to my house one time we had 8 players playing for $50 and its down to 4 players top 2 get paid, one buddy raises and he looks at his chips asks hi how much he has and we all told him he has you covered and he proceeds to say allin so my buddy calls and wins the hand, then he says how much you have well my buddy had 4 black chips ($5000) under a stack of blue and when he counted the black jackass says WHAT I DIDNT KNOW YOU HAD THOSE THEY WERE HIDDEN I WOULDN'T HAVE WENT ALLIN IF I KNEW YOU HAD THOSE THATS BS. and we all were like dude we told you he had you covered before you went allin. anyway he got pissed and left and he will never play at my house again nor will anyone play at his house. Oh and I also saw a close fight at Mountaineer, players were at a $2-$5 table, one guy raises to $45 the other called board came 4 7 J rainbow original raiser checks other guy bets $75 gets called turn comes 2 now original raiser bets $175 other guy goes allin imediately, other guy goes in tank for like 2 minutes finally gets clock called on him and hes pissed starts yelling thats crap it's alot of money etc etc etc. Anyway after about 30 seconds he calls the allin and flips over KK the other dude doesn't show (which is allowed in live cash) river comes K dude that doesn't flip his cards gets up and throws his cards at the other dude and says take your Kings and shove them up your ass. Turns out he had JJ. Security had to come over and seperate them and JJ guy was escorted out of the card room.

it's fun to hav a lil bit of booze and play some poker. But some ppl jus get out of hand and drink too much then they easily upset. These ppl are quite easy to take chips off lol I've never seen a fight at the poker table yet, but during a tournament at a casino over by the roulette table we heard alot of shouting and then a fight broke out. The whole of the poker room people got up and crowded this fight. Then the police and bouncers came in and banged those stupid buggers into a back of van then everyone went bk to their seats at the table and contiuned to play lol. No1 cared that the blinds were 250/500 aswell lol.

There was a sweet one at Foxwoods not too long ago. I guess a guy at at stud table kept pitching his cards when he folded, but he was firing them past the dealer and almost on top of another guy's cards, which kills that hand. Apparently he did it more than once, cuz there was already one incident with the floor called over. Just heard some yelling, and the two guys were in each other's face, and the guy who was mucking his cards way too far got choke-slammed on the table, knocking it over and spilling chips all over the place. It was pretty crazy.
