Poker Stars FPP Bonus Strategy

I know all of us start our bank rolls somewhere. I started with
$25.00/100% First2007 Bonus. My question is this:

At which stakes should one play at, in order to earn
the max amount FPP's? possible?
I only get 6 months to earn 250 FPP's to get my bonus.
Keep in mind I will use as tight of a bankroll management as possible.
I understand Chris Ferguson's system but at that rate
I might not make it in time. Or will I?
Any "cardchats" out there that can give me some advice

i earn about 1500 fpps a month, silverstar, I make alot of them playing 1/2 lhe.

but i usually have 500+ doing so.... i dunno with 25$ u cant play that level so, grind lower limits. I think the pot must be $8 for 1 fpp i believe.

On PokerStars the rake has to reach .40 cents before you are awarded points, so that that......Wow, I'm not sure. I don't go by the whole Bankroll Management ussually, so my thoughts are different. If it were me and I only had $25 to work with, I'd put it on two .25/.50 tables, when I doubled or maybe even trippled what I had put on the table to begin with I'd open another table and do it all over agian, until I was sitting at 4 tables.

With this though you have a really good chance of going broke if you don't catch cards or make the right plays. Plus your putting your entire bankroll at risk. Its hard with $25 because you have to be at a table to make enough money to get a rake, but low enough stakes that you don't want to go broke.

Whilst they are attractive on the face of it i have found sometimes the bonuses can sometimes be more costly than the prize itself.

Although you do have a few months longer to gain the Stars bonus and so i would begin at the lower levels, try to find a loose table and play really tight, as then everyone elses loose play will help you pick up easy FPPs'

I have l looked at the same thing, but I agree with beardyian.

I have found I`m sometimes so desperate to gain the FPP I end up a) getting bored and b) getting desperate!!!

I would play $0.50/1.00 Limit holdem as the average pot is normally around $8 = 1 FPP.

I would also multi table, 2/3 at a time.

I find the hardest thing to do is break that first 1500 points in a month when you have not played for a while. After that, u are playing to hit 1000 points and as u r silver level u actually get 1500 points 2=3 @ silver level.

Whatever you do, gl!!!

six months is plenty of time to reach the 250 marks. i did it sitting at .5/.10 and lower, and started with $25. it takes awhile, but with smart play it can be done. don't worry some much about getting the bonus. play to build your bank roll. if you you use proper BRM, in six months, the bonus will be just that. A bonus.

On pokerstars 1/2 lhe tables it takes rake $.25 for every $5, so you need a $10 pot for 1 fpp. for the .50/1 lhe tables its $.05 for every $1, so you need an $8 pot for 1 fpp.

So, if you can find a .50/1 table that has an average pot of $8+, thats the cheapest way of making em, but it's much more common to find a 1/2 table that has an average of $10+... It's just a little more expensive

The smartest thing to do IMO would be to play some sit and gos or tourneys and try to build thrue those until you have a decent enough roll to play .50/1 or 1/2 limit comfortably to rack up some fpps.

At micro limits it is extremely hard to get fpps from the ring tables, head to the sngs start on $1.20 and try to work your way up. You get 1 fpp per $1.20 tourney you should be able to play 250 of these within 6 months if you are a winning/break even player.

Donk and goes are the way to go: no way you can grind a proper BR playing .5/.10 without taking a lot of tiem to do it. I started with 70$ at the start of April and I ran that for 600+ profit while playing sporadicaly and most of that is from SNGs, wich I dislike, but seem to excel at.

Ya so basically for a ghetto BR = micro SnG's

you can make hundreds of FPP per day with a better bankroll playing 1/2 limit tho

6 months is plenty of time... 1/2 cent games to build bankroll. When you get about $100 then play $1 SNGs or 10/25 cent ring limit. When you get to $150 play 25/50 cent limit games and you will earn your FPPs.
