I always wondered with the rising popularity of poker in America, i was wondering when our poker giants make that jump to the big screen. Im thinking Patrick Attonious becuase he use to be a model, use to being in front of the camera. Maybe Phil Ivey, hmmm what does everyone else think? |

Otherwise, I dunno. Anyone else see Hevad Kahn doing OK in a Jim Carrey type role? ![]() And LOL @ the talk about Negreanu in Wolverine. He had a two second non-speaking cameo, where he used his epic acting skills to convince the world that he was... a poker player. Seriously, LOL. |

| re: Which poker star would make the best movie star I would go with Howard Lederer the Teacher in a remake of that crappy movie "21". Mike the Mouth in a movie about drug use and Doyle as a cowboy in a "Tombstone" type of movie. (he would be the guy sitting at the table in the bar playing poker. lol) Big stretches huh? lol |

| chris fergusson obviously guys come on, just look at him his personality was made for the camera, i can picture him in lord of the rings as gandolf, or in evan almighty as the god, i mean come on he is jesus. Chris fergusson was made for the camera and that's y u c him in most poker commercials, the dude is a star and would b great for any movie. Jeeze i'd go as far as to say fergusson is the next chuck norris, the dude can chop a carrot in half with a poker card for god sakes lol. chris fergusson for president in 2017 |

| Daniel Negreanu in shifty character type of roll maybe as the head henchman for a crime boss. or Chris Ferguson as a vigilante type of roll, not a super hero thing or anything but the like the old show the Equilizer, just kinda going around righting wrongs. or Doyle Brunson in a western as the Ranch Boss, kinda like Robert Duvall in some of his later movies. Just my $0.02 |
