Poker site sponsorship deals

Hi all. Does anyone know what these sponsorship deals are all about? What do they usually contain?

Please post a link if there have been other posts about this topic.

Thanks,
EthanVK

Im guessing he means what do the poker sites pros get in their deals? From what I understand they pretty much get bought into numerous tournies. I beleive many of the Stars players recieved buy ins for the Wcoop events this past semtember. They recieve live event buy ins as well. Dont quote me on this though im not certain its just what I have heard. On the other hand this could be not even what your asking about so we will see lol.

That is exactly what I am asking. Just curious if anyone new specific details on contract deals and such i.e. tourny buy ins. I also understand that there are sports agents representing poker pros as well.

I think it varies from player to player, but I'm pretty sure the site pays the tourney buy-ins and takes a portion of the winnings or somethin'.

Ohh Ok....Like Vanquish said it varies. For example Full Tilt has their "Pros" and their "Friends of FT" I'm sure the Pro's get to play in certain tournaments for free, obviously the tourneys they host, I'm positive they get a free buy-in.
The Friends of FT I would say probably get small chunk of change to start off with to start playing.

Thats what I'm guessing.
