Poker Pilot - Scam + Proof

Hey All,

Just decided I would let the poker community know that Poker Pilot is indeed a scam. I dont like blabbing on about all the other crap you dont want to read so here it is, the proof.

Once Poker Pilot is installed you will notice a "Encrypted Files" directory.. in that directory you will find a file named "Algorithm.ass" now, this file, is actually an audio file, can you believe it?

What I found in the file in a hex editor was this:
ID3vCOMM!engDownloaded from http://www.mTIT2 Shut Up (Aviry Extended Mix)TYER2004PRIV'WM/MediaClassPrimaryID¼}`Ñ#ãâK†¡H¤*(D-PRIV)WM/MediaClassSecondaryIDTCON(1 2)TALBShut Up

Which is an ID3 tag for mp3 files, anyway Thought I would give you the heads up and I have reported the website to the cyber crimes devision of the FBI

Peace Out,
Nick.

Thanks for the reply mate, basically.. if you rename the file to a .mp3 it plays in Windows Media Player / Winamp as a Black Eyed Peas song... the length people go to to scam money, at least make it a bit more smarter.. far out

Isn't Poker Pilot a bot?

If you paid money for a program that cheats, and got cheated out of your money, karma is doing a great job.

If I were you I'd hope that they didn't include a password stealing trojan horse in there as well.

Haha it is a bot, serves you right. How about instead of wasting your money buying a program that plays for you go buy a poker book and learn how to play.

Also I don't think the FBI will be too worried about a Poker Bot program not working as advertised.

Just googled it after reading SP's post, it is a Bot. Even funnier it is a bot with programing problems.

So sad the people you bought a program from to help you cheat might be cheating you, NicholasAU........

Still it is so hilarious to see a scammer get scammed and then report it to the FBI that I gotta have a mod check this thread out!

btw, Great first and second posts!

Fellas,

Give me a break, your going to give me a heart attack, haha... ok..

For starters, I did not purchase this software, I was at work looking around at poker threads and come across threads from people saying how great this software is, now in my down time from work I have a keen interest in software reverse engineering for malware analysis, and thought I would take a look at this, i spent 30 seconds looking at it, and noticed the whole program was just one big scheme to get money.

Part of the scheme is to offer a free download trial for people, this trial comes with a demo account, which from the start has let people know "This account has been disabled due to too many hackers trying to crack our software." which is hard coded in the program itself..

Now enough with the flame session guys, dont give me another reason to laugh my ass off.

I guess I feell sorry for you people that assume way to much before you know the facts, then I think how easy it would be to beat you guys in poker. Assumption is death.

Peace out !
-Nick

Yeah, assuming that you bought a poker bot program to use it is just stupid. How could all of us be so dumb? Of course everyone who buys those programs simply wants to pick apart the code like you.

Come on, folks. Give this guy a break!

He said he DIDN'T BUY this bot and he said he looked into the trial version of the program to see if it was malware. He was actually trying to do a GOOD THING.

Sorry about all this, Nick. In the past, we have had a lot of new members come on here for the sole purpose of spewing some hair-brained conspiracy theory just so they can spread their warped message. I guess over time, we regulars have become a bit jaded towards new folks and their discoveries. Though understandable, I apologize for this.

Seems like you have come across something important here. Keep up the good work and WELCOME to the forum.
