Poker Office (need some help)

Ok guys if any of you have poker office I need some help here. I just recently installed the software at it recommends that I convert the data base engine for PokerOffice to MySQL.

MySQL - For most users, we recommend that you change your database engine to MySQL. This is a fast and simple process that will make PokerOffice run a lot faster, especially as your database grows larger. Read more about converting to MySQL here. Have u guys actually converted and has it caused any problems to other programs? Just wanna be sure. And thanks a bunch in advance.

Whilst you are still learning the software I see no need to upgrade to My SQL.

I have 20000 hands and its still working fine. maybe you can do that when you become more familiar

To start using it do the following.
1) open up Poker Office. You will have a grey screen.
2) go to on eof the drop down boxes at the top and chose "Auto detect sites. ". press activate.
3) Open up your poker sites, log on and go to the table.
4) at this point you will see another window open. Thsi tracks the stats for the players.
5) you should also get some of the key stats overlay your poker site. If not then play with the drop down menus to get this working.

The default database is fine.

If you do option 2 then wheneever you open up any table on a poker site that is supported you Poker office wil automatically kick in - assuming that it is open,

I suggest going to some very very low limit tables and playing 500 hands. you can play/experiment with the options and see what works for you. When done. Clear the database and start afresh at the limits that you play. The options should have been kept to your configuration

OK man thanks alot! That was really helpful, just one more thing, when you auto activate, dont you have to tell it whether you are at a ring table or tourney table. Or does it automatically detect which pokerroom and which type of table you are playing. Also what if you have more than one poker room open at the same time. Does auto detect give you info for each of the different pokersite tables at once. Thanks again.

if you have on auto detect you do not haveto do anythink. It all sorts it for you.

Ihave only ever played one site at a time.
