| Poker Odds Calculators I am trying to figure out what real time odds calculator to use. I have checked out
It's some jungle and since they are not that cheap I'd like some input on what you guys use and why. For the record - I'm new to online poker (and to poker) but I have actually managed to almost double my money and finished 2nd in my only tournament within my first 10 days. I have been using Magic Hodem mostly but I started checking out Calculatem and Holdem Genius. They seem to be the same thing skinned differently - en their websites are quire equal. I play at Pokerstars which means the calculator must work there - and work real time Thanks in advance. |

| I actually did check and all they are all accepted - except from holdem inspector. I am not going to sue that one I guess. http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/prohibited/ - this shows that the 4 first ones are allowed. |

OK, I had no idea if your stuff was allowed or not, but a lot of people naively use stuff and get screwed cause of not checking. Make sure thay are allowed while pokerstars is running, but you probably did that already. GL. And, no, sorry, I dont use anything like that - I use HEM and thats it while playing - so I cant help you with your OP question. |

| re: Poker Odds Calculators FWIW, I think spending a lot of time reviewing hands and using pokerstove or the like to calculate odds and trying to get to the point where you have a rough grasp off odds integrated in your thinking. Its ok if your odds are 67.155 fave and you say "Im around 70% here" or whatever. The more you review and calculate after games, the better you get at doing it off the cuff, which frees your mind - and time in between hands - for gathering other important information, such as how others play certain hands, what their ranges are etc......... |
