| Poker is Not a Perfect Science ...AND NEVER WILL BE… THERE ARE TOO MANY VARIABLES (why do you think there are so many different books about it?) Among other things, there are these… How much is the buy in …how much is your bankroll What is the type of game… limit, no limit, cash etc. Your hand Your position Your chip stack Your opponents chip stack Who you are playing against…or the lack of info about them How many times have they been raising, or calling, or folding How the cards are running (this is even a bigger variable, when playing online) How many hands have you had to fold And on and on and on I don’t know about you, but my play is based on every one of these things, among other things…so, if you think you have all the answers, you may want to think again… you don’t have all the answers because POKER is ambiguous. | Very simplistic to boil it down to so few variables, as you admit... 'perfect (like exact) science' is a bit redundant; and as I have said before, there are more things under the moon than simple or complex formulas and logical thought. But u sure r good plyr. Sometime lets go heads up and I will only play the red cards... |

Saying (or thinking) that an ace can't come on a flop because you've seen it six flops in a row is just stupid, for example. |
