| Well, I use a simple, cheap Acer TravelMate. 160G HD, 1G ram, and a 1.9ghz processor and it works more than fine. I use it primarily for poker on FullTIlt (no slowdown up to 7 tables + music + browsing), listening to music and blogging. It's basic, but it's cheap and does everything I need. Got it for about $300. |

As for poker laptop, almost any decent cheap laptop will do. Depending on the sites you play might want a larger screen. On my 15.4" laptop I can't tile 4 Merge tables without overlapping them since the Merge software doesn't let you shrink a full table small enough and the mini view and tiled views suck (1280x800, just a higher resolution would help).
