Poker dreams - had a nightmare!

Do you dream about poker ? I did, last night! It probably falls into the "You know you play too much poker when" catagory.

The dream was a true nightmare. I dreamed I sat down with my entire bankroll at a high stakes cashgame and lost my entire bankroll in one hand.

LOL, I had something close to that in a dream. For god knows what reason I apparently took my entire bankroll to vegas and used it to buy-in at some ridiculously huge limit table. I didn't even have enough to legitimately buy in, I only had enough to cover one big blind (which I had to post immediately) and was dealt, of course, 72o. I don't recall the rest....

I have dreams about poker a lot actually, usually if I play poker right before I go to bed. Sometimes I just see continuous random starting hands flwo through my head when I dream, and I have to decide what to do with them, its really wierd. Although I have crazy dreams every single night, so its not a surprise to me.

I used to work as a cashier in a supermarket. Did the same thing over and over. Scan the item (beep), and in the bag it went. I used to dream I about it, not that it was a nightmare or anything, it was just a very boring dream. So, yeap, dreaming about something probably means you've been playing too much, too much anxiety, not enough sleep...etc.

I recently had a dream where a donkey was on my front yard and when it saw me, it wanted to come inside. I started pushing on the door to prevent it from coming inside, but it kept pushing back.

I don't remember what happened next, probably woke up in horror.

i have way too many poker dreams, must be unhealthy

i had one dream where i was playing a CC event and like the software on pokerstars messed up and it made me call an all-in with Q6 or something, and i got knocked out. and i kept trying to explain that the software messed up but everyone was just like "lol u suck, go away"

i had another dream where kathy liebert and doyle brunson were chasing me through a casino with shotguns because i beat them in a 3way all-in with KK vs AA and AA. i've had several dreams where i win gratuitous amounts of money and several where i lose. the ones where i win might actually be worse, because i wake up with all that hope. some of the ones where i've lost money were so realistic that i checked my bankroll as soon as i woke up to make sure it didn't really happen

I haven't had any of the detailed poker dreams that people are talking about, but I've dreamt about cards and startings hands a lot. I also agree with the others, these dreams are usually the result of a long session of online play and are usually more frequent when I've lost a significant amount of money just prior to going to bed.

I am wondering, does Poker Tracker work with dreams? It would be nice to know whether one is a winning or losing player while sleeping.

You should be more tentative during your wake up process.

When I was a younger, I'd had a dream that I won a huge amount in the lottery. Being a kid I stored it all away in my closet, only to wake up sad.

Thank you. I do need help. That donkey was pushing really hard to get in.

I could have used your help holding the door closed.

PMSL....well no donks in my dreams!!!

The only "nightmare" I had was at college when a group of us camped out on the beach and smoked a wee bit too much happy tabbachy while listening to Spanish Train.

Kept getting the same hand - King high straight....and lost everytime!!!!!!
I wonder why?

Is this a Charlotte's Web type pig? Or like a pig from the movie Daddy's Deadly Darling made in 1972 where people get fed to the pigs?

i have really vivid dreams every night and remember all of them.

one of my best ones was when i was one of the final 3 remaining in a NLHE WSOP event, the other two being allen cunningham and one unknown. i was the small blind, and allen was the big blind. the cards were dealt, and allen folded out of turn and smiled. the dealer told him he couldnt do that, so he took his cards back. the unknown folded and i raised, and allen went all-in and i was confused.

a more recent one (two nights ago), was me playing with JC tran and mike matusow in a home game, and i kept folding my cards face-up out of turn and everyone was laughing at me. then mike was like, "wtf are you doing lol" and smiled, but i couldnt help folding face-up out of turn. mixed emotions about this one.

in the next few days, i'll probably have one where kathy liebert comes to CC and poasts in the HA section and everyone will think its a gimmick account made by me. i'll poast about it if i do.

My dreams consist of my 2 favorite things: Poker and Sex. You have no idea how a game of incomplete information can be so arousing.
