poker bots

have heard about these,do they really work and can you make money from them,i saw one that sells for 139.00 an says it willmake you 23 an hour,,or should i just buy the brooklyn bridge

wait, there are bots that will play the poker for you?
I've never heard of this (always thought it would be a great idea, simply if you could MTT, and have the bot fold bad hands for you without you having to check 9+ tables at once). Does it actually raise and call and do stuff too?

dont buy the bot, we need bad players to remain bad.

Lol, bots aren't real. They're like Sasqwatch. I mean, bots do exist, it's not like you can't write a program that "plays" poker, but it can't do it well. They're so freaking bad it's silly.

However, there IS a bot that does something well. POLARIS beat pros.

well i think i've joined one 2 weeks ago @ cd-poker , atleast at how he acted... really fast / didnt talked .. and was 1-1 10/20c

As a computer science major it is possible to make a bot play poker and can make it play based off hands win percentages to raise check fold. But ehh nothing can beat human judgment.

Is this a real thread? I thought this was a serious poker player's forum, not a cheaters forum or am I missing something.

well if you like the brooklyn bridge, the same man who built it built the suspension bridge in my town( cincinnati). its very similar to the brooklyn bridge and im sure we could get you a good price on it as we are trying to raise money for some city projects..

'bot' as in robot... a software program that reads the hole cards/flop/turn/river event stream sent to a poker client and makes "plays" accordingly... and yes virginia, they do exist... low limit Ultimatebet is FULL of the little buggers... they sit with .10.. raise any unraised hand when in late position... if they exceed .23 they leave before the blinds.
