Poker After Dark this week

How did Gus Hansen get so lucky? Vanessa Rousso, Clonie Gowen, Beth Shak and Erica Schoenberg? (JJ Liu too, but who wants to look at that) I would give my left tes..., um arm, to play at that table.

I want to know who backed out at the last second. Somebody had to. Tiffany Michelle or Jennifer Leigh maybe. There's no way they get those four hotties to play with Gus & think that JJ Liu looks like anything other than the wart on a hobo's taint.

Maybe they chose her based on her success and skill as a poker player rather than on whether or not she's a "hottie?" She may acually have an advantage at that table. God knows she's the only one who won't be worrying in the back of her mind about looking bad on camera.

I've seen that series.
I assumed that they tried to get all women, but one bailed, so they got a good looking guy. Maybe it was between Gus and Patrik Antonius, and they went with Gus because he has a better record?

i saw this one a while back when it first aired. they wanted to have gus with five women because of his rep as a "ladies man". i agree though. they surely could have found someone else besides j.j. liu. she doesnt exactly fit in with the other ones.
