| Dwan is lookin really sharp on his game. Even if he looses a few pots here and there due to his aggression, he'll still make it up through blinds and the hands that he does win without a problem. I especially loved today's episode where he made that move on Allen, great job by him, hope he wins....even though he looks like the Gay, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. |

| re: Poker After Dark - Cash Game Its unfortunate that they failed to put entertaining people on. Allen Cunningham may be one hell of a player, but hes boring to watch, as is laliberte (sp?), dwan is hardly the life of the party, and i never heard of the 2 other guys not including Phil. If your going to put on a 6max cash game, they need to invite the aggressive entertaining top pros such as matusow, hansen, negreanu etc etc |

I'd want to see Antonius Ivey Gus Hellmuth Matusow Devilfish That table would have monster pots built preflop with junk cards |

Also Hellmuth whining about a bad beat after checking TPTK on the flop and turn cracked me up lol. Hellmuth's just a dick, and I hope he continues to bust again and again and again. |

I don't particularly care about the side conversations, and sometimes I wish Phil would just shut the hell up and play poker instead of berating others when clearly he's the biggest fish there. |

| i love the way Durr talks down to Phil it all started in that heads up thing on NBC Phil just keeps telling the kid he wont be around....Phil is such a dick this is actually a really entertaining table i think...not so much with the table talk but with the actual play |

I suspect he would've made a few more final tables this year too, if he hadn't gone on what appears to have been an ego-driven "I wanna win a non-hold 'em bracelet" crusade. I mean kudos on making the $1500 HORSE final table, but WTF was he doing in that tournament in the first place?!? Let alone the $50K HORSE. I've only seen a very limited amount of his play in cash games (HSP, basically) but it seems he's got it all kinds of wrong against the serious cash players. Still, it's the blowups that keep him in the public eye, and it's being in the public eye that makes him endorsement money, so... |

| I'm not sure why Hellmuth's cash game is so mediocre. It seems to me that he doesn't play cash games very often, in favor of big tournaments. Still, one would think that he should be capable of switching from the trappy style to a style that gets more value out of decent players. Maybe he doesn't on purpose, who knows. He even said to Howard Lederer on PAD once that he won his first couple of bracelets by playing a standard TAG style and that he switched to the trappy style quite a ways into his career. |

| I laughed my arse off at Ali's "Uh-oh" after Phil flopped set under set. Classic. Whoever said Guy is boring is out of their mind. He's by far the most interesting player at the table. He frequently goes balls out because he doesn't care about the money. He's the anti-Buss. By the way, am I the only one who finds Dwan more annoying than any other player in the game? Even when he's not saying anything annoying, the sound of his voice just makes me want introduce his face to the back of his skull. It's like nails on a chalkboard. He needs to take a tip from Chris Ferguson and keep it silent. |

| ok so wtf was going on there with the K2 vs. K5? Did Dwan really have that good of a read? If he had position I could see him calling the turn to bluff the river if checked to, but to be oop and call with bottom pair and then check the river, having minimal outs as well, wtf is he doing? Granted it would have been amazing had he called that river, but there's no way he can do that. Even if he has Hellmuth on a bluff, he could easily be bluffing with 33 or a lot more pocket pairs or even 7's here. I doubt he was even pondering a river call there, figure he was gonna raise or fold. I just really don't understand the turn call. He's played absolutely amazing to this point, but that one hand I really don't understand. That said, if he had called on the river (or even raised and then shown) it would have been amazing. Hellmuth woulda gone crazy lol. |

| Thanks for the heads up on this, I stopped recording it just last week too. I'm just glad those reruns are over with! IMO, the show needed a face lift anyway and cash games are MUCH more entertaining to watch. Does anyone else get annoyed by the shows producers insistance that the hostess keep referring to the SESSION as 5 seperate nights of poker? Just do like High Stakes and tell it like it is. Any monkey can tell it's just one session broken into 5 seperate segments for TV. shookashookashooka...we're back |

| re: Poker After Dark - Cash Game Wow...I about skeeted when I saw Dwan almost make that call on the river. That was a great move by Phil though, the turning your hand as fast as possible...definitely woulda confused the shit outa me. But after he startered rambling about how it's a good thing he didn't raise on the river, that woulda be an instant all in for me. What a great read by Dwan, hes playing so impressive. Woulda deff been the sickest call in Live Poker history. |

As far as Dwan's "read" goes, he didn't have much to go by. Hellmuth doesn't usually get out of line, he had taken a break which got him off tilt, basically there was no reason for Dwan to believe Hellmuth is bluffing. And let's not forget, he called with K2o OOP preflop. None of this is impressive in the least. |
