Well being chip leader is the EASIEST way to win tournies. My guess is you are too aggressive, try AFFECTIVE aggression not maniac aggression. Short handed takes a little getting used to because you have to know when to call big bets and make big bets with marginal hands that are actually the BEST hand. In general in short games if the blinds are low don't kick your starting hand requirements up very much but if the blinds are high compared to your stack play more loosely. By more loosely I mean a few percentage points on your flops seen not EVERY hand you are dealt!

I agree with Xdmanx007. Agression only works when the other person does not have the cards..or the balls.. LoL
become chip leader and then temper your aggression..

being chip leader is a big advantage! But don't blow your chips on risks you wouldn't take havin g less amount of chips. Let you oppenents take each other out, but still continue to add to your stack
