The Pocket 2's Dilema!

Tonight in my last event 3$ Rebuy at stars. Something strange seemed to be going on. Maybe it was just noticeable to me, but I'm not good on poker analysis, or odds etc, so maybe someone can assist me with what I present in front of you. Prob nothing but odd to me.

Playing about 2hrs 20min so far...check out the rivers. Or that I won all but one only because if I would have followed my last 3 experiences with 2,2 I would have realized to call the stupid thing

I know he took a lot of my chippies with them.

Moved tables finally about 1hr and 15min ago...haven't seen 2's myself.since I moved..one person won with them at my table...will see how it goes for the rest of the game.

22 is an terrible hand.

Get rid of, they are never favourable against any hand, well maybe apart from 72 off.

Try them against a few other shite hands in a good convertor and you will be surprised.

Meaning you don't want to be all-in with them, but if you have implied odds, they are still good to play for set value.

Actually the statistics put forward by that hand statistics programs are lies perpetuated by the government to get less people to play the unbeatable deuces so that George Bush has an easier $0.01/$0.02 game on stars.

Doyle Brunson says that 22 will win more often than AK if you are all in pre flop heads up, IIRC...

yes, 22 is a very slight favorite when they're head to head AIPF. but against a reasonable range of marginal-to-strong hands, AK has much better equity

22 33 and 44 I tend to dump preflop unless I'm either button SB or BB and its limped to me. As far as all them 2's hitting on the river with pock 2's all I can say is wow... Never works that way for me.
