Depends exactly what you're ranking them on tbh. Quality of the players? Quality of the interface/software? Variety of games available?

People's opinions of poker rooms will very greatly depending on what's more important to them. For example someone looking for bad players would put Pacific on top whereas someone looking for a site with good easy to use software would put it near the bottom.

You'll be hard-pressed to find someone who has tried all of those.

You don't have pokerroom there at all and they are probably in the top 5 largest sites.

Some of the ones you got listed are fairly quiet and what about skins/networks such as prima?

You should also take Party Poker and throw it in a river. I don't know what made you rark that one #1, but in my opinion it has got to be one of the worst.

A-frickin'-men. I don't know what did it for you, Dennis, but in my case it was customer service.

Cool, you guys. I was just thinking about dumping Party Poker. What did it for me is their bland SnG set up and they don't have enough tournaments to support the number of players (all the good ones have over 1000 players).

I've got a bunch of points so I guess I'll get a bunch of hats or something. I've got about $4 left there. Do you guys have any tips on closing my account there?

I never liked it from day 1. They let you get an endless supply of play money which I think defeats the purpose. There customer service does suck royal. I also didn't like the graphics and here lately everyone has got a $50 offer for you on that site. What's up with that?

Not really. I tried to get them to close my account, but that apparently did not compute. A few months later they gave me $15 to "come back and play". I happily donated those $15 to Dook. I have no intention of returning to Party. Ever.

I have been playing primarily at Party in their NL ring games. I've taken a bit of time away from poker but will be getting back into the mix pretty soon. What would you guys recommend for the best NL ring games? I will be playing at the lower buy-in levels, like the $25 or $50 that Party offers?

1. Party Poker - Didn't impress me.
2. Poker Stars - Probably the most popular and highly rated.
3. Absolute Poker - decent overall
4. Ultimate Bet - Never had much luck on that site
5. Full Tilt - Graphics and tournament set up is great but minimum deposit is a little high.
6. Paradise Poker - Decent with a variety if games. Not too many freerolls (if you care)
7. Doyles Room
8. Americas Cardroom
9. Bodog Poker
10. Pacific Poker
11. Empire Poker
12. Golden Palace Poker
13. Bet365
14. Bet Fair Poker
15. Ladbrokes
16. Victor Chandler Poker
17. Poker.com - Good but connections problems happen frequently.
18. Hollywood Poker
19. Nine.com
20. World Poker Exchange

I love party, its where I ply my trade the most

best game selection, lots of bad players, horrific beats ;]

yes the tournament and S&G structure sucks (I play these elsewhere) yes the customer service isn't outstanding (though I've not had to use it)

but for ring games its imho the best and the cashouts to neteller are really fast

1. Party Poker - Ok. Terrible for MTT's - too many runners. isn't worthy of 1st place
2. Poker Stars - nice setup. HORRIBLE slow software.
3. Absolute Poker
4. Ultimate Bet
5. Full Tilt - one of the best sites on the net. excellent software.
6. Paradise Poker
7. Doyles Room
8. Americas Cardroom
9. Bodog Poker
10. Pacific Poker - not very good for MTT's or cash games. sit and go's are its strong point. very very fair balanced software. probably the more realistic.
11. Empire Poker
12. Golden Palace Poker
13. Bet365 - nice, regular prima poker site. i love prima sites although the rng is questionable.
14. Bet Fair Poker
15. Ladbrokes - undoubtedly one of the worst sites on the internet. horrible horrible horrible.
16. Victor Chandler Poker
17. Poker.com
18. Hollywood Poker
19. Nine.com
20. World Poker Exchange

you need to get noble, titan, usa poker etc etc up there to number 1! they are the best sites.

1. Party Poker - no % seeing flop (major -ve point). Fairly fast play, no micro stakes, no very small-stakes SnGs. Nice offers to get you back (have given me over $50 without me redepositing). Not my #1, but some plus points.
2. Poker Stars - not enough Omaha H/L SnGs going (too many SnG options to some extent, so they don't fill up as easily as they would if less were available), otherwise a good selection of games and stakes.
3. Absolute Poker - crap freerolls, pretty decent otherwise
4. Ultimate Bet
5. Full Tilt - has some unusual games - e.g. Razz, HORSE
6. Paradise Poker - soft competition - my most profitable site to date
7. Doyles Room
8. Americas Cardroom
9. Bodog Poker
10. Pacific Poker. Some very soft Omaha H/L cash games which are worth playing. Hopeless for non-Holdem SnGs or MTTs.
11. Empire Poker
12. Golden Palace Poker
13. Bet365 - standard Prima site
14. Bet Fair Poker
15. Ladbrokes
16. Victor Chandler Poker
17. Poker.com - regular freerolls fill up quickly. Private tables. Haven't played for cash on there yet
18. Hollywood Poker
19. Nine.com - you've got to be joking, right? Last time I checked them out they only had Holdem going, and the game selection was hardly encouraging... having signed up as an affiliate I decided there was no way I was going to actually waste time trying to promote them
20. World Poker Exchange.

The Prima sites (32red, PokerTime, Bet365, etc) should be grouped together, as should the Cryptologic sites (InterPoker, William Hill?, etc), and other gaming network sites which share players, as the level of play and quality of software will be fairly comparable.
iPoker (Titan,Noble,CDPoker) is missing, and has good, soft short-handed SnGs which are worth playing, certainly more worth joining than the likes of Nine.com.
Pokerroom.com is missing from the list, although it may be the same network as Hollywood or something, but it has nice private tables and decent software.

A general rating isn't of that much value, because some people will want to play for decent bonuses, some look for good software, some for fast games, some look for soft competition, some for a good range of games (e.g. lots of non-Holdem games). You can't really do a single list that does justice to all those different requirements.

My top 5 would be:
Paradise, Stars, Pacific, Prima, Party.
