Thinking off buying a tablet to play poker on any advise

Yes, you can. Select the one of your interest, the game would be same on any platform. It would be really a nice experience.

I have a samsung tab3 im in the US the only site that I can play on my tablet is Bovada. I think carbon has a mobile version but I dont have any money on that site. Bovada only offers cash games no tourneys. The games are fairly easy to play on the tablet, however bovada tables only show in "landscape mode" but the tablet's orientation has landscape at the short side down and the long sides at the side which make it weird to play. I have been playing zone poker tables while sitting at live games at casino to combat the bordom of long live sessions.

If you want to learn poker in depth , at this moment, an android etc won't be helful. App has no note taking facility, no HUD , no colour coding and probably much more amiss. As most online strategies derive from HUD ranges , unless you've figured some basic strategy by using a HUD in the past, you will find a tablet or mobile tough going. Even playing tournaments, say multi tabling, working out M score in 10 seconds might tilt you. Right now, mobile/ tablet players are at an enormous , goliath disadvantage. GL .

Very often you have to play on the tablet. If possible - why not? Yes, and you can play in tournaments and money. In an extreme case, if there is no internet connection, you can practice the game of chips for free =)

You can chrome remote desktop (free) and remotely view and control your PC as long as you have a connection so you can play anywhere on your computer from your tablet. I would recommend a 10" screen for playing

I want to get a tablet just so I can play online poker while I play poker at the casino. Live poker is so freaking slow it's crazy. You get like 50 hands an hr. We need more action ya know? :D

I think very good, if you need to leave or lose the connection has another alternative to play, even if the volume of games is less

It is excellent for playing away from home but also when we are at home.

for example when we are at home in bed tablet is best.

We can also use it in the toilet to not be absent: D

I really like the tablet and have won tournaments using the tablet.

It is good if you feel comfortable in playing poker in it. It's your choice.

True(ish).

If getting a MS Surface, make sure that if it's a version 1 you get the Surface Pro NOT the Surface RT.

Same applies to version 2. Make sure it has 'Pro' in the name because they have renamed the RT version to just Surface 2. You will want the Surface Pro 2.

To be sure that this is clear, only the 'Pro' versions will run normal desktop type software.

Will the latest MS Surface Pro 3 be able to do all the stuff u mentioned? Which one do u think is better, a Pro 2 or 3? Is the 3 Worth it or is it better to buy a 2?

As with all 'techy' things, the newer versions tend to be a little bit lighter/faster/productive. So if you can afford it go for the Surface 3. Another god thing about the 3 is that you no longer need to worry about it being the 'Pro' version. Both variants will do what you need.

It depends on what you want. If you want a one poker table, it is perfectly suited to teblet. Not suitable for multi-table play.
