To play or not to play? That is the question.

I have been working on bachelors thesis which is esentially a 35 page essay. So I have written just over 20 pages in the past week of this s**t. I think I got about 28 pages atm. I am starting to have major tilt and my brain has gone totally dead and the best part its due tomorrow at midnight.

My question relates to poker, in that I was thinking of playing a tournament on t6poker with a 165 euro buy-in that I am going to get sponsored into again tonite. Is this wise?

Anyways, back to grinding some words, I'll check back in a while.

My opinion, get the essay done. Theres always more tournaments, and hopefully you can get sponsered again but youve only got this chance at a education. Nail the essay, feel good about yourself, then go rip up the tables after

You're reasoning is 100% correct. However, I feel that I only have a few hours of juice left for the essay today and then I'll play the tourney.I'll try to get as much done as I can for today in the next 4 hours and finish it tommorrow.

It is the final draft, we have about a month to still make final changes. Atm I feel I have to just finish it off now, and then come back and make it better later after I have had a week or so to think about it.

Personally I would have been where you're at now last week . But in reality if you think you can get the paper done still to 100% while still playing the tourney, play it. If you don't, do your best on the paper. It's just a tad important .

Too bad this is the last essay, I would have asked you to do the next one .

I think I overestimated the amount of work left, cause now I have about 5 pages left and its only due tomorrow at midnight. That means that I got a few hours today and the whole day to do it tommorrow.

I guess I'll be able to e-mail it tommorrow... Although there might be major problems with motivation tommorrow if I win a big sum tonite.

The shortest tournament experience of my life

Crazy, first hand I get Queens and start donking with them. Villain catches trips 7s and me and my quuens are out

I think I just donked 165 euros of the sponsors money on the first hand . I guess its all a lesson since I have never dropped out with the first few hands before...

Was walking home from the shop today and started to re-think this. I think I shouldn't have done this. The concentration and the game was just not present. So, I gambled my money with queens against what I would have picked up under normal conditions to be a set.
