Is the play that much worse at Bodog?

Well, I made the switch from Bodog to Pokerstars, and so far, I think it was a bad decision. It seems that the players there are a million times better than players at bodog. In the 5 and 6 dollar tourneys at bodog there are ALWAYS complete idiots almost always shoving in the first couple hands and 3/4 of the ring games 50max and below have higher than 40% to the flop. It seems at pokerstars the SNG play and ring game play are about 5x better than the play at bodog.

Bodog PokerBodog Poker is one of the few poker sites accepting US players that also offers a Sportbook and online casino games.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker accepts US players. Use Full Tilt Poker referral code CARDSCHAT for a $600 bonus and to play online poker with the pro's.

In very general terms, yes, I think the players at bodog are worse that at PS. Many of them tend to be gamblers from the sportsbook that won some money and are screwing around at the poker tables and "giving it a shot" or what not. That's not to say you won't find good players there, but you'll find them less.

In one word: yes. To expand on that, hell yes. The ring game play at bodog is very, very loose, partly for the reasons JD stated. Their tournaments are even worse, every one I was ever in was a real donkfesr.

Yea, I played at Bodog for over a year and just recently switched to Full Tilt. The competition is much better, which actually ends up getting me paid more.

Wouldnt bad competition pay u more in the long run? Im thinking about switching back b/c I know I can make more money from terrible players than good players.

I prefer better competition. Keeps me on my game, and when I play bad players I only can play with a made hand basically. I get paid for on FT then Bodog for sure.

My experience at Bodog sucked. I deposited for the 4th and final time to see how I went....

I went all in on the turn x3 - each time I was between 84-87% favourite. Lost every time.

Then I figured they owe me some luck - so this time I went all in at 50% favourite x2 - lost both times.

The players are donks. And the site doesn't like it if you play 'proper poker' e.g.steal lots of pots with nothing and fold mediocre cards. It will repay you by giving you great hole cards, then making sure you miss the flop or are sucked in with 2nd best.

Bodog is good for tourneys like the 10K but not much else.
