Places to play near/in San Francisco, CA?

I'm moving to SF soon.

What are the best/nearest spots to play poker in the bay area?

Does CA even have any Casinos?

Someone also told me that there are some card houses around, as well?

California has a lot of Indian Casino's and Card rooms. I am not familiar with SF specifically but a Google Search would be a great place to start.

Yep, just did that. There's a Casino just south of Daly City, which is really close to SF.

Gotta do some more research on the card rooms, though.

Lucky Chances in Colma's easiest to get to. Bay101's in San Jose. Bay101 is supposed to be a lot nicer but if you're like me and can't afford a garage(e-gads I hate this city sometimes), then Lucky Chances is better for that reason alone.

But Bay101's best feature apart from being home to a WPT event is that it's really close to Great America. That way if you lose a tournament, at least you can console yourself with funnel cake and rides.
