This place is easy at the moment :)

Hi all,
Sorry haven't posted in about a week but been busy, here is a relatively new poker room with only around 120 active players, they have about 4 or 5 freerolls per day at least two of them are $50 freerolls and i've not seen more than 120 people in them, it's fairly easy to come in the money there at the moment and it's not advertised in too many places, this is the first place i'm mentioning it. Also if you play the free play tournaments you earn points, come in the top 10 just one day and get a free entry into the $250 freeroll held on Sundays, it's fairly easy, I made the top 10 in about 12 games. They also say if you come in the top 3 you'll get an entry into the monthly$2500 freeroll. The name of the place is www.earthpoker.com
Well that's it for now, good luck at the tables

Easy Money but.....

Hi all,
Yeah this site is easy money but don't expect anything too brilliant in the way of software, it kind of sucks and does tend to corrupt now and then, i've played a couple of times and the cards freeze in mid deal but you can carry on playing, eventually if you don't close out and come back you'll have a kaleidascope of cards all around your table so bad that you won't even see your own cards, just close out and come back and it's back to normal again, i'm just now off to play the $250 freeroll I qualified for, I plan on getting in the top 3 spot over the next day or so in the play money so I get an entry into their monthly $2500 freeroll, should be easy enough. See ya there.
Good luck

agree

Agree with you on Earth Poker.
I only downloaded last week, have played in 15 freerolls and got in the money in 10.
Only got $8.10 in total though lol!
But I like that there are rarely over 100 players and they only take just over an hour to complete.
I registered fo one but got called away so missed it. When I got back on it was nearly finished and I finished ninth and won 30c without playing a hand lol!
There also do a mini league with a final on Sunday, but unfortunately for me it starts too late (1.30am) so I've not tried it yet, but it has a fair prize.
Good luck and see you there.

further

my only problem with the site is there is little action on the cash games or sit and go tourneys.
so it may take a while before I can make a withdrawal lol

Hi again :)

Hi all,
I dont think I got a welcome email from these guys, also a couple of you mentioned that it was so quiet there, that's why I originally posted this site, because it's dead, there isn't many there at all which is why it's so easy to come in the money, also even if the sunday tourney isn't on your time it doesn't matter, you can sit out and still come in the money.
Also don't forget if you get in the top 3 in the mini-league there is a $2500 freeroll at the end of each month too.
I don't really think about this place as a serious poker room but it's something to do while your waiting for a tourney on another site, the mini-league play money tables are easy too, what I sometimes do is register for about 6 of them in one go, then I go play a tourney at another site, when i'm done I go back and have a look, I play whatever ones are still in play and usually clock up a few points for a couple of second places, you don't have to spend much time there at all really.
Saying that I noticed quite a few more players there today.
Well i'll wish you all good luck at the tables

Qualified again :)

Hi all,
I just qualified for the $250 freeroll on Sunday and I didn't even have to do anything, I played one game yesterday and won that one then I registered at 6 other tables and had to go out, I must have came second place a few times and it got me into the top 10 for the day as I qualified for sunday's freeroll, at the moment there are only 40 in that one, worth a go even though the software isn't much good.
About the validation email I know some people don't recieve these especially if your on AOL as they put stuff like that into your spam folder.
Anyway for those that are giving it a go, good luck at the tables. Post back here if you make the Sunday freeroll, and whoever gets to cash out at this place let us know ok?
Good luck

I've been playing Earth Poker for two days off and on. The graphics are pretty lame, but the games seem to move along pretty well. Biggest drawback for me is the unusually high ratio of complete assholes who are playing on this site. The insults, name calling, and trash talking are pervasive in almost every table I've sat in on. Lots of fish to shoot in the Earth Poker barrel. I turned my $5 free poke into $24 at the nickel NLHE tables in less than an hour. In the great scheme of things, not too shabby. (I'm Rammr Jammr at the tables. If you should run across me there, give a shout.)

I'll keep my eye out for ya :)

Hi all,
Congrats on your win Ram, yes there are a lot of people here who I think are first time poker players and it shows, don't forget to check the freeroll tourneys under the real money tab, they have quite a few freerolls per day, some are $5 but most are $50, still only around 100 getting in and usually pays about 18 places, easy money.
Have a go at qualifying for the $250 freeroll on sunday, that's pretty cool that one, i'll keep my eye out for you and see ya there, good luck.

Re: Cashouts ???

Hi all,
Well i've spoken with a lot of players here and I haven't yet been able to find one player who's cashed out, I like to know that players have cashed out without any problems before I deposit so if anyone else speaks with someone who has cashed out or if any of you manage to cash out before me please post back here to let us know how it went.
If I don't hear anything i'll make a deposit here myself on the 1st of the month and i'll try a cashout later the same week and post the results.
Good luck all

warning

I would be wary about depositing money on this site.
I have sent their 'customer support' 6 emails over the last 7 days and have yet to get a reply.
I've only got just under $20 won in freerolls so it is not that improtant but i would not be happy if I had an issue that effect my money and could not get a reply.
Didn't even get an auto response!

also a little wary at first

Hi all,
Yes i'm always wary of new places until I find out for sure that they are ok (or not). I like to give new places the benefit of the doubt and hope they turn out to be good.
Sometimes there is a good reason for not getting a response, i'm not making excuses for them as I really don't know what they are like right now but I deleted a poker room as I couldn't get a response to my emails, turns out AOL was putting them in my spam folder.
Anyway i've emailed the support at this site also mentioning that some players are not getting their emails answered and am awaiting their reply.
I know they have at least two other sites and they plan on opening bigger and better tourneys over the coming weeks, this is usually a sign that they are ok, have to wait and see.
Good luck

earth poker responded to my email :)

HI all,
After reading "The bull's" post I decided to email earth poker myself to see if I could get a reply, I sent the email at 8:30am and got a reply about 12hrs later, being on a sunday that's not bad really. I mentioned to them that some people were not getting replies to their emails and asked if there was restrictions on the bonus money.
Anyway i'll post his reply here so you can see for yourself what he said, seems ok. I've sent him another email asking how long it takes to process cashouts and i'll post his reply to that one too.

Earth Poker's reply to my first email :

anthony,
as with all bonus money there are restrictions which are posted on
the main earthpoker.com page. You CAN withdraw once you play a
certain number of raked hands, otherwise there are too many people
out there that would come, never play and withdraw this free money,
in other words just take the money and run. We must prevent this
from happening otherwise there is no use having the offer. aS FOR
SUPPORT we are constantly trying to improve, in the next couple of
weeks we will be installing a live support system, so that THESE AND
MORE QUESTIONS can be answered must faster for you in the future,
thanks again for your questions.

Well so far so good, I also noticed that they take e-gold as a deposit option, I never know what to do with my e-gold so I might use my e-gold funds to deposit here next.
Also you might want to decide not to take any deposit bonuses here as there are some pretty strict rules on bonus money, one is you can't cash out any bonus money for at least 30 days only winnings, another is that you have to play a minimum of 100 raked hands and these must be played on at least 50c / $1.00 tables.
Well good luck all

Has anyone played in any of their mini league tournys? On the site is says click on the Sit & Go League button then click on Tournament Free Play, but I can't find a Sit & Go league button or tournament free play button. There are some Sit & Go's under the practice free play button, but I'm not sure if that is the right place to go or not. So if anyone has any information about this please let me know. Thanks

Hi Killa :)

HI all,
yeah if you go to play for fun on the left hand side, then on the right is the mini-league, click on that and it gives you a list of sit-n-go tourney to play for fun, come 1st or 2nd and you get points, you can click on "standings" to see where you are for the day, come in the top 10 and you automatically get entered into the $250 freeroll on Sundays. Good luck

well you have had a good result!
I still (10 days) have not had a reply and I do not have a 'spam' file on my usp.
It's been so long I can't even remember what the problem was! lol
Yes I can...disconnections, 5000 in chips then a minute later I'm placed 21st when 'no shows' are above me, reporting abusive chat (someone has to do it or they think they are cool!) , on final table and not able to act. I'd have thought at least an auto response would have been warrented!

Here's an Earth Poker oddity:

Was playing in a tourney a couple of days ago when idle table chat turned to what everyone thought about Earth Poker so far. Three players at the table asked what "Earth Poker" was. I laughed and told them they were playing it! They replied, no, they were playing "Banner Poker".

After several more exchanges, it appeared that I was on Earth Poker, they were on Banner Poker, but we were sitting at the same table, playing in the same tournament. Never heard of such. Emailed Earth Poker the next day to ask about it, but haven't received a reply.

Regarding banner poker

Hi all,
The banner poker is their sister site, like the prima poker network, there are in fact about 4 I think which is the reason I posted this place (earth poker) originally, it was easy, easy to come in the money in the freerolls, easy to quialify for the sunday $250 freeroll etc...
After playing here a couple of weeks my honest opinion is that I don't beleive this site will be around for that long, they just haven't got what it takes to become a large poker room where players want to return to.
I've had 3 replies from Jay but I don't believe he has the patience or the curtesy for customer support. And nope I still haven't found anyone who has actually cashed out from this place, and I spoke to at least two members who have been there since early february.
Well we have to try these new places in order to find more great poker rooms to play at, it's inevitable we're going to come accross some crap ones too.
Good luck all
