POKERTRACKER - ALLOWED?

Can someone please tell me how Poker Tracker works and if it is illegal? Please tell me how to get it. you could email me my name is nate 02 @ telus . net maybe ill try it out for free if I can?

Poker tracker is not elligal. What it does is keep track of how you and your opponents play. You can download a free trail version from the site Dorkus Malorkus linked to.

Simply put pokertracker is nothing more than a database that you can import hands from supported poker sites into. After you imprt the hands it spits out a TON of statistics about your play and the players YOU have played. No odds calculator in the software just a hand and statistic database. Newbies will probably jst import hands into until they learn it because the only drawback is that it is not very user friendly.

Thanks for the info I just found the free one but I will learn more about it. For some reason I thought it kept a database of the hands which showed what hand number it was and what cards were delt to each player. But if it were like that it would be Illegal... This poker tracker is kind of no use to me Cause I dont know what to do with it and dont like to read stats. Unless I get the rate each player option to work.

Well it imports your hand histories and you can "replay" the hands you import into it.

Poker Office is the one that has an odds calculator and is easier to use.....

Welp the poker tracker is cool but My computer dont like it anymore it took up too much memory. Mind you this is an anceint comp.

I'm looking for a statistic program like PokerOffice or Poker Tracker. Which one should I get?

PokerOffice has better live feed during games; in addition to statistics you get the betting history for the ongoing hand (i.e. if someone raises $2 preflop and bets out $4 on the flop it will say "R2.0|B4.0" under this player) as well as odds, everything on the table overlay. Before the 2nd version of PO I used PT for game analysis and PO during play, but there is no need for PT anymore since a replayer (with overlay) has been added in PokerOffice2.


Also, PO2 is very easy to set up..just install and every thing should work out of the box. I recommend switching to the MySQL databse (see the "howto" in the PO forum) to speed up things..
