| Phil Laak to attempt poker endurance record Phil Laak to Attempt New Poker Endurance World Record at Bellagio in Las Vegas Poker professional Phil “The Unabomber” Laak is looking to set a new world record for the most hours of poker played in a single sitting. Taking place at the luxurious Bellagio Poker Room in Las Vegas, starting on June 2, Laak will be looking to break the world record of 78 straight hours of playing poker which was set by Paul Zimbler in the fall of 2009. Guess he just started a few hours ago: Livestream up at: http://acejones.com/unabomber-poker.htm also phil's tweets: www.twitter.com/realphillaak I don't think he'll make it. Pretty sick. |

| Its absolutely crazy IMO. However the inofficial world record is around 5 days straight, so it's doable. If he wants to fall into a dream world, and lose track of reality, then wouldn't drugs be faster? I heard somewhere that the physical limit for staying awake is around 10 days. After that you will fall into a deep coma, from wich u may never wake up. |

| re: Phil Laak to attempt poker endurance record Watched for a bit this morning... he left the table for a bit and came back with breakfast - so looks like breaks are allowed He was spending most of the time after breakfast either fidgeting around or slumped over his Blackberry. His last twitter up $2575 with 58 hours to go. I plan to start watching again around 70 hours as I am sure his antics to stay awake will be quite entertaining |

72hrs.+ should be a snap for that guy. I would think a bigger challenge for him would be to shut up for 72seconds. idk.. he just seems like the type who could stay up for multiple days (his head doesn't seem to ever shut off). GL Phil! |

| re: Phil Laak to attempt poker endurance record So if I'm not mistaken they are at one of the two tables inside Bobbi's Room..... That is the only place in the poker room that you can directly see the Sports Book room that I know of. |

Watched for about five minutes just now, he's at around the 43 hour mark. The chat moderator claims he hasn't had any caffeeine yet and he's going to put off having it for as long as possible. |
