yea i just read that i never knew negreanu was that successful. does negreanu play alot of online poker nd if so what site?

Its hard to argue with Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu being the best players in the world. They are at the top of the all time tournament money list but are also cash game specialists.

Theres tourny players that rarely go near cash games..yet still lag behind - like Hellmuth and Ferguson.

Whats more impressive is that Ivey and Daniel lead the way despite never winning the main event. And the top 15 all time money list is skewed with one time main event winners.

Ivey and Negreanu are both insane at what they do. It's almost unreal the reads I see Negreanu make on TV

I think most people think Phil is better. Daniel is one of them.

In the last Poker After Dark - The Cash Game, Daniel stated that he was an underdog against Phil Ivey, Antonius, and Durrrr. This is primarily because these three play a lot more and play each other a lot more.

I believe if Daniel played Phil regularly, he would feel much more comfortable and might give Phil a run for his money.

At the same time, Phil would probably end up on top.

Itll be a long time till the Jamie Gold's and Jerry Yang's are off the top 15 all time money winners list but that will surely be a sweet day.

Jerry Yang is only marginally in 15th place...when I say marginally I mean by ~$360,000!!

Not sure I'd agree. All of his WPT titles are in NL. His WSOP titles are 2 in limit, one in PL and one in SHOE. Id say he's pretty well rounded.

well i bleieve those guys are better cash players then tourney players. dont get it twisted they are great tourney players but they have made more money playing cash then most. i mean look at durr he is a cash king but he sucks at tourneys. u knwo they have like 12 million in tourney wins and like 6 times that in cash wins. tourney winnings doesnt mean your the best look at moneymaker and yang and jamie gold. they got lots of money on that list but have they won anything since. nope. and as said earlier they havent won a main even but they play a bunch of tourneys. and if u cash in most then of course u will get high rankings for cashes. i think what makes a greta player different from a good player is wins. its all about the wins baby. i am not a hellmuth fan but he has won a whole bunch tourneys which would make him a top2 player overall.

Wish I was Ivey.. rich man working a job that anyone besides an athlete,actor,government official ect. would want..
