Phil Ivey playing on FT Hi all, I'm watching Phil Ivey palying on Full Tilt - kinda cool - he's playing on Canfield $200/$400 table of 6 players. He's sitting on $38k in cash right now.

He was on that table around 12:30 PM today and had $44K. Saw him play out this hand...button min raised to $800, Ivey lets his timer run down to 0 and pops it up to $3600, BB folds, Button goes all in for $8400, Ivey insta-calls with 44, button had AKo. Flop is A4x, Ivey with a huge lead. K on the turn for drama. Brick on the river and Ivey scoops it. Button reloaded for another $8K after that hand.

$143k Wow..just checked in on our bud Ivey....lol Sitting there now at $143k Meanwhile I'm on tilt here...after 2 1/2 hours playing in King of Canada freeroll over on Paradise, short stacked 7 players off the bubble I get AK. Of course I'm allin...everyone folds except the fool that calls anything all tourney. He show J7 off...I'm thinking cool - now I'm over doubled up with enough chips to clear my way well past the bubble. GGGGGrrrrr.....he nails the 7 and pooooooooooooof....I'm toast! Time for a stiff drink!

He's back on! He was sitting next to a 50k stack...which was larger than his, but just left. I'll see how he fares this time. He just reraised a short stack with 4's pre and lost to "the fish's" pocket 7's after a reraise and all in pre. A fish because that's his avatar.

Well, looks like he's done for the night. He ended up about 10k from what i saw him start with in n'limitholdem and about 20k up at limitHORSE. Gold just stepped into his old seat and bought in for what looks to be about 6k for some reason, maybe he lost some before I got there...who knows... if anyone cares...

Hmmm. Ivey's on there again with Antonius, Elezra and some other pros coming and going, but no one wants to play No limit H with em! These guys are probably on every day and I never noticed. lol He's up about $100k playing HORSE. I won't post anymore...saying he's on blah blah. . . just check out Tilt if you want to see some cool avatars. I suppose that's why they pay him and others to play there. Ya never see Hellmuth or Duke playin on UB do ya!? At least not in the rings. Seacrest out.

Interesting scenes just now. One of the seats came free and sbrugby (Brian Townsend) sat down. The whole table, including Phil Ivey, immediately emptied except for Luigi (Antonius), and then sbrugby sat out presumably because he didn't want to play Antonius heads-up. |

re: Phil Ivey playing on FT poker I watched the Canfield game on and off while I was playing big stakes at a 10/25 table (cents, that is). Favorite hand was a $40k pot where both Ivey and the opp were in with flush draws, and the other guy one the hand with an ace high. Couldn't help but think, "he just laid out $20k on a flush draw. The only thing worse than losing $20k on a draw would be losing $60k if the spade would have hit."
