Pet Peeve while playing Poker !!!

I have 3 pet peeves when playing Poker on Full Tilt : that is 1) when people are impatient ....EVERYONE is given a certain amount of time to bet or call .....as I see it , some are just slower thinkers ,albeit, I'm not usually one..... and 2) there is no reason to cuss at someone or call them names just because of poor sportsmanship. 3) there are some who gripe because some win on the river..... why do we have 5 cards ? DUH !!!! I haven't seen these things on the other poker sites I have played at !!!! But for some ODD reason, I prefer Full Tilt .... and I have MANY MUTED for their foul mouths and their bad attitudes. !!!!

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker accepts US players. Use Full Tilt Poker referral code CARDSCHAT for a $600 bonus and to play poker games that the pro's play.

UltimateBetUltimate Bet are one of the older poker sites on the internet with a great range of games to play and a 111% poker bonus with the bonus code CARDSCHAT.

I will vent with you.
1. I hate catching three pair when I'm playing stud, I never thought a full house was too much to ask for.
2. playing against a table full of calling stations when playing stud, I really don't think a reraise when you catch your 4 of a kind is too much to ask for.
3. The lack of good players at low lhe, I really enjoy playing lhe but my br would be gone in a week if I stepped up a level or two and most of the time the low limit tables make me feel like I am throwing my money into a game of high card. I like playing online but there are a lot of things that I see that boggle my mind.

I will add one:
1. I hate people on the rail giving advice to a player who is involved in the hand, especially when I am also in the hand.

Actually they all have their fair share, but you should try ultimate bet freerolls if you reallllly want to see some mouths. I think they all went to the phil helmuth charm school.

Moaning, so much moaning

My peeve at the mo has definitely got to be the moaning, oh the moaning, "How can u call with that?", "How can u raise with that", "How can you go all-in with K J, Are you dumb?". Usually coming from players who have just lost a sizeable part of their stack. All these self proclaimed experts basically saying "You should be playing the way I like to play and letting me win because I'm really better than you".

These aren't generally commets aimed at me, but i just hate the people that make these comments to others. You lost, get over it, your chips are gone. Anyhting can happen in NL poker. Also hate all the "fing Bodog" or "f-ing Full Tilt Poker". I play on loads of sites and from what I've seen a bad beat and horror boards are the same everywhere and occur with the same regularity.

There seems to be more and more moaning as well, hence aggravating my peeve further.

Anyway, thats my moan about moaning over. Lol. I just needed to get that off my chest.

-Excessive multi-tablers who hold up the action at all their tables.

-People with bad internet connections who refuse to leave.

-People who make derogatory remarks after winning a pot. (I like to write their comments down and say it back to them when I take their money.)

I totally agree with this one and sadly it happens all the time at my local casino.

Another one I hate is players showing others their hand before folding. Show one show all IMO.

Bullies. Especially ones who make fun of small preflop bets. It does however give me a great deal of satisfaction to wait for them to raise the pot when I've got the nuts.

And poor sports who don't understand, and berates, the short stack that calls an all in bet with just about anything, and wins.

Peeves, ask jeeves...

For me, it is about the people. Sometimes, there is a spark of the magnitude of the entire world playing poker, and then there always seems to be the best and worse of Human nature. Only the worst behave worse than would be permitted face to face.

My confidence actually goes up at the table when I see people moan and complain about bad calls. They are often not as good as they think they are. Far from beeing a "peeve", this shows two things:

1. The cards are "getting to" the player and they are frustrated and might not then play as well.
2. They may as well wave a flag saying "Please Play Correctly And According To Your Hand Strength", and you can often proceed to raise him off hands quite often, annoying him even more.

My personal pet peeve are those players on low-limit tables who think they are at the World Series Of Poker and take virtually the WHOLE TIME on the clock almost EVERY HAND to think about their decision. Oh, and those who want to engage in mundane conversation in the chat when you're actually trying to concentrate. Oh and people who make full houses (well against the odds) on the river, beating your straights or flushes - that's a killer!

I would complain to the house and just maybe that person would lose his chat privelege.

I hate the people who tell me how bad of a player I am after I took their stack, espicially if they were bluffing and it didn't work for them.

I agree with you , Insomniac, on the "bullies". The "CHIP BULLIES", as I call them, just because they have a lot of chips and just because they can... they bet a ridiculus amount to get the pot....

At micro lhe table "Experts" who complain about you playing rags when there is no raising and you are getting like 10:1 odds to call with atc and then flop a monster and beat their AK sooted that they call down to the river even with raises and re-raises ahead of them.

- "time-out" folders
- Freeroll "pros"
- players gloating when they suck out on you
- players moaning when you call with junk when you've got huge pot odds
- flopping 2 pair then seeing board pair the other card
- playing a ring game against total donk, and not being dealt a single hand, as opponents hoover up all the dough
- players saying "i'm killing this table" when 20 minutes ago they called all-in with A7 and caught miracle
-Titan's small-stack-bounce-back scripted SnG's
- being sucked-out on by an opponent, and not getting reverse luck a few hands later
- people using chat box as an IRC substitute to yak with thier friends (especially when neithher are acually playing the game!).
- typing a sentance in the chat box on one table, and finishing it on another (P'Stars really cant sort this out?).
- playing Hand for hand when the prize level is about to move from 2 cents to 3 cents.
- People saying "why have i got 4 cards?" when the 0/8 level starts in HORSE (like that's STILL funny!?)
- people saying "gg" to a player that patently hadn't had a gg.
- players repeatedly hitting runner runner low draws to split in an 0/8 game, when you cant hit a wraparound straight with flush and low draw with 2 cards remaining
- being dealt Razz hand in the Stud levels in a HORSE SnG
- being dealt Stud hands in the Razz levels in a HORSE SnG
- opponents compaining that they are being dealt Razz hand in Stud levels and Stud hands in Razz levels
- Completely outclassing your 5 opponents in a 6 player SnG at Titan (home of the min-raise and 30 bet into a 400 pot), then being dealt out of the game by their supposedly "randon" card generator
- playing 90 hands without being dealt a pair, then getting KK, pushing all-in and getting called by an opponent with... AA
- opponents catching flush or straight draws without odds
- not catching flush or straight draws when i chase without odds
- being dealt AA in BB and seeing maniac table suddenly turn into autofold mode.

Those are the main ones, there are plenty more.

- Players who raise pot everyhand except their own blinds
- Freeroll entrants that go all in with nothing for no reason what so ever, usually on the 1st hand
- Freeroll players who 'have to go' so they push all in every hand instead of just folding and sitting out
- SnG sit outs who miss the 1st 50 hands until there are 4 or 5 people left besides him then come back and go all in 1st few hands
- 'Pros' that tell me they got robbed when I had Straight, flush and 2 over cards on his crappy middle pair and I hit.
- People you ask advice to and you give the hand and they don't give advice but ask why there are 2 king of hearts, the suit ended up having nothing to do with the hand
- Stupid raises
- Random Generator always throwing the very worst possible card for me on the river for 15 straight hands I play
- 4 to a flush, straight, or nut low and always seeming to miss
- People that bet 1/2 as if it was 5/10
- Ultimatebet Random Card Generator

I think this ranks very highly up for me as well. I don't like people dealing differently, like pre burning and stuff. Pre burn is a big problem for me.

That one gets me too. Then there's the guy in one of my local games who shuffles the cards face up. Why does he do that?
