Pathetic Railbirds

The other night on FT while I was grinding out a $25 table I decided to pull up the Omaha Hi table Durrrr V. Gus.
The poker was entertaining but really get a kick at the railbirds telling the two established pros how much they suck and how they'll take them to the bank if ever given a chance.
And if youre not listening to the nickel and dimers insult Gus's and Tom's play then you have to see the innevitable railbird BEGGING for someone to transfer them some money.
I know you can turn the observer chat off but some of these railbirds are really pathetic.... Must be people not at CC

hahaha i LOVE watching the people repeatedly type in "someone send me 3.30 for a sng" like 100 times in a row.
i think one time i'm gonna actually just send them the money so that they tell all their railbird friends the plan worked, and we can see 100x more money begging :P

I love railing the high stakes full tilt games.I usually play pokerstars and have full tilt on my other screen.Mark Vos and his short stack hit and run strategy really drives em crazy.They call him every name in the book.I have to say I get a kick at these idiots who are broke and think they can tell the pros what donkeys they are.The begging does get really old,surly no one sends them money and encourages it.

best thing when railing there is when someone says a famous celebrity died and people actually believe its true. another good one is when someone offers money if you get a trivia question right. its amazing how many people try to get the question right thinking their gonna get money. my personal favorite is the nigerian who wants money to build his bankroll so he can move to america. great all around show.

They are pathetic, the money beggars are in my opinion the worst and most annoying because they never stop.

As far as the ones name-calling the pros...the worst one I have ever seen was a table that Matusow was at with Cunningham and Hansen(I think) and there were two guys just going off on him, and Matusow was firing back(which he should have just muted observer chat, because it was obviously screwing with his game.)

It was pretty funny at first, but then it was getting annoying that Matusow was getting into it. Even the other guys at the table were telling him to mute. Eh, his own fault for becoming distracted I guess, right?

nc royals you are so right, I often watch the big boys playing in the mixed games section at full tilt and the way the railbirds behave is disgusting. The way they abuse the pros is unacceptable and I believe that they should have their accounts banned or at least suspended when going overboard!

Its awesome messing with the morons on the rail who ask for money or just say stupid stuff. Its funny how they all believe the high stakes guys are luckboxes and the railers have just been unlucky for a long time. Matusow is usually pretty funny when he gets into it, almost all the other guys turn the chat off.

Funny how FT doesn't moderate the tables with the pro's on them. They could and should. Then take away the chat priveliges of the abusers and the beggars. It's just another thing that ruins the game. Maybe they could turn all railbird chat off and just leave the pro's chat on. This way they would be more inclined to speak to each other, which would be much more interesting, IMO.

Railbirds are too funny,especially when they call the pros donks and fish, i remember when some guy kept calling gus a fish and gus typed back "i rather be a rich fish than a broke railbird", i can't believe he actually pays attention to them, whats also funny is when some railbirds open a table just to insult the begging railbirds calling them railtard, but im still waiting for my $1,000,000 i begged for a month ago

Ever been to Vegas/AC/Any other town with a casino in it? You will get this from bums/gamblers on the street about 10x as much as in the online rooms.

I think it's a shame. Makes me question the human race. I've run stats. on a bunch of the beggars (are they a profitable investment??..lol.. they always claim to be... ie. send me $5 and I'll send you 60% of what I make,... OR, send me 10 and I send you $9 back... I have $4.50 in my account but I need $5.50 to play in sng). Guess what... most of their stats. suck, lol.... BUT some of them are actually winning players (as far as sngs & mtts go). I've seen some who were up a few hundred and who ran pretty good. Hmm... guess they took it to the cash tables.

I've sent a few stranges money in the past, not while in a tourney but while watching one. One time I had same guy I'd sent $5 to a couple days prior, railing me on a final table, then asking me for $$'s. I said to him, "Man... I just sent you some a couple days ago? Not even a 'thanks' for that time from ya?" He didn't even recall the $5 I'd sent him,... hmm.. guess some of them get $$'s frequently enough to keep them begging for more. Others I've sent some too, weren't asking for any at all... .just thought I'd share a bit,.. what the hell.
If you watch some of the final table play in MTTs on Fulltilt, you'll see an assortment of the same beggars on there in each and every one, day after day. They must be getting something out of it?? Sad to see one's addiction get so bad as to feel the need to stoop so low to beg for $'s on an online poker site. On that note... "hey.. anyone got a spare fin on Fulltilt?" (just kidding).
They should start up a poker forum.... "Poker-Beggars". Holding freerolls with zero $'s in the prizepool and to get the password you have to beg like crazy for it.

ihate it when people that are not paying tellanyone let alone a pro how they would do better get in the ggame and keep your mouth shut!!!!!!!!!!!

Railbirds have to be in the top 3 of my petpeives while playing poker if not top 2 or top 1. Telling people how to play is bad, but the worst is when a player you knocked out follows you to every table and harrasses you. I've had that happen in a CC game although I forgot who. Next time I will remember that name and post it on here.

OK...now that might actually be good. I don't usually watch the railbird chatter (or even watch the pros play online), but to watch somebody beg for a penny - that might be worth it.

Railbirds always offer some good old fashion free entertainment, if anything. Just like a drunk though, they can get very annoying and beligerent. On some sites you can turn obs. chat off, but that is about the only way to counter their poor ethics.

i think its hilarious as well. those morons should just watch and keep quiet or just not even waste their pathetic time. no ones gonna give them anything and they dont deserve anything. the ones that take shots at durr or any of the others are just jealous that it isnt them. they are the losers.
the only thing anyone should be saying is hello and nice hand, things like that. people wonder why its hard to talk to any of the pro's, its cause they turn off their chat mainly because of all the beggers and trash talkers. its sad.

I was chatting at a high stake Stud game one day, being nice of course, and not asking for money. It was me and one other person. The pros at the table sent us $20 each on Fulltilt for being nice. I was like WTF? I checked my bank and it was there. One other person came to watch and they sent them $10. The pros said they don't get many railers at the Stud tables and they enjoyed how nice we where to them. Crazy right? But true. X

yes i totally agree..fulltilt should do somthing about it,but they dont it can get very nasty to ,ive seen all sorts said while watching,and i cant understand y tilt lets it go on

I know this one guy I loaned him money one time. He has never left me alone since. lol. I should have known, I didn't get paid back. I didn't even get thanked.

I didn't lend him too much, he asked for like .08 I sent him a dollar.

I would never send anyone I didn't know personally a penny...though it is quite entertaining to hear people beg as though if they only had a dollar or two they could beat the people playing for cash...If they were so great, they could win a freeroll to start their bankroll and at least then they'd be worth respecting a little.

1 bad apple in a group of a hundred can ruin the bunch, so 1000 bad apples in a group of 80,000 will still do the same thing. There are always going to be people whose bravery or obnoxious behavior, will increase with the anonymity of sitting behind a PC screen.
Thankful for the sites that allow railers to be muted.

If anyone needs money, I'd like to put my 2 cents in! So here it is... they should not allow the railbirds to chat, only watch. Problem solved.

I never beg there, I think its very ugly, and I always hit "ignore" on the once who do.
But once someone actually gave me $5 on that rail.
It was like this:
He said "Anyone who can guess my country will get $5."
Lots of answers, but noone right, so I gave it a go, and guessed USA, and it was right and he sent me the money 2 secs later.

Thats really funny, i imagine those guys get a kick out of it too. Im sure they were easily ignored by the pros it is a shame space on their chat board was waisted by such nonsense but i suppose that comes with the territory. Most of those guys are just happy to be interacting with the pros and dont have anything better to do, ahh god bless what do you do?
