password hijacker

there was a thread titled something like: "funny post at full tilt forums" that got deleted by a mod soon after. there was a link that was supposed to log you in to ft forums, but it didn't. just kept refreshing the same page

so I says to myself: self?... I realized it was a bit fishy and logged in at FT to change my password. While I was doing so, a little message came up that said someone else was trying to access my account from a different computer, should I allow or deny.

I don't even ever play on FT, never deposited $ but if someone else tried to open the link and log in, change ur password!

yeah i removed that as soon as i clicked the link and saw that it rediverted to a login form which wasn't hosted on FT. lame phishing attempt tbh. :/

anyone else who used it needs to call FT support asap.

Just in general, if there's a link from someone you don't know, make sure it leads to where it should. For example the Pokerstars guy that posted the thing here had a link to a page on pokerstars.com. But if it were a link to an obscure site or more likely just an ip address, you not only shouldn't put in your password but don't visit the site, too much potential for problems.

I wasn't even thinking and because of that i am now MrMookets on fulltilt and no more MrMuckets. I also lost my whole sixty cents i had on there. Fortunately, I had not deposited there in a couple of months and then only through epassporte. and click2pay which has since closed my account. I want my sixty cents back.
