was just watching it on pokertube, and man, viffer is insanely out of line there. looking at laak's cards without permission? that's grounds to get thrown out of the casino.

true laak's acting like a child, but as long as eli isn't complaining about being touched during the hand, there's nothing technically wrong.

what viffer did tilts me so hard.

Laak's drunk and acting like an ass...shouldnt be drunk like that on TV playing high stakes...gives poker a horrible name. All serious pro's think poker is a sport and not gambling...then take a page from how sportsman act and dont get on to do your job drunk.

I agree with this, although I really like Laak as a player. He shouldnt be drinking and especially not be drunk during a high stakes event.

these guys all know each other pretty well... maybe not oliver as much but the rest... to them its like an intense homegame.

im pretty sure viffer is stuck too? i could be wrong there just going from memory people generally dont give them a hard time for something like this, also laak is drunk lol

It's your job to protect your hand. If you want to be the drunk fool and jump behind a couch when there's a game going, expect things to happen. He wasn't in the hand and didn't show them to Eli, so if Laak wants to "play hide and go seek" like Viffer said, then I don't see a problem with it.

I really don't know how anyone could actually like Phil L. as a poker player??? He's a frigg'n jerkwad imo. (aka 'tool').
What is it about him that so many of the younger poker players admire? pfff. the 'Unabomer' with his dumbass hoodie pulled tight around his face.. gimmee a break.
He's only got two things going for him imo.... J.T.

Or how about some of the dumb-ass things Lahk was saying when he wasn't involved in the hands? Guy's unreal. Players must love him though when he's drinking - - he's a huge fish.

Man, a lot of poker players and pros drink....so. Still don't make it right to look at someone else cards. If anyone have ever seen them play live you know how much they drink. Laak has always been a fool, so what. That a cardinal rule of poker viffer broke. It is an advantage for everyone else if he is drunk anyway by the way he played that night. Laak was stuck like 160,000, so why even bother to peek.

you really think they're playing for real money? its all an act ..and it was fun to watch these past 2 weeks....now back to reruns for another month probably...

Poker is a recreational sport at best. So drinks are definitely in. If the guy wants to drink and play who cares? It's not like he's letting his teammates down. It gives poker a horrible name? It's name is still "poker" afaik. Drinking while playing cards...non issue.

Yeah...they give all the money back at the end. The dealer doesn't except any tips either.
