PAD--Anyone watching Gus and the Girls?

Just wondering if anyone is watching (tivo-ing) the current Poker After Dark series? I for one (being a lady, ahem) will enjoy watching Gus Hansen squirm and (most likely) get beat by a woman.

All in good fun gents.

I just finished watching todays show, vanessa rousso is donktacular. That Shak girl is pretty good imo, clonie is doing great as I suspected... Gus hasnt made much of a move yet! But he will...

My money's on jj liu. And yeah Gus is a cutie!

I'm watching but not as much fun banter as I had hoped for.

I think we may see some cat fights before the night is over. The blonde on the end is the easiest to read, fo sho. I don't know her name. She seems the most nervous.

Gus wasn't really playing like the normal Gus. He is playing a bit tighter than normal. I'm not sure if it's because of the girls or because he's waiting for 1 or 2 to get knocked out first in this winner take all.

Clonie said out of everyone she wouldn't want to face Gus heads up. I'm not sure I'd want to face him heads up either. He seems to pick the right time to play some garbage cards and pull out a win. He plays such a wide range of hands you have no clue what he may or may not have.

Erica is pretty quiet I notice, but watch out for her.

Yeah so I watched episode two. Now Gus is not so worried about winning but not going out first. It is fun to watch.

I don't get much of a chance to play live against other women, so it's nice to watch them play.

And of course it's always nice to watch Gus.

I watch all the PAD and I'm really enjoying all the cute ladies on the show.

About play, Beth Shak is horrible...she had made so many wrong moves that I wanted to cry right on my couch. Erica is making strong plays, but they aren't always in the right moments. Clonie is doing very good, "Damnit, all in!" Very funny. Vanessa is really hot...she made a few bad plays in the beginning but now coming back and playing solid poker.

Gus...very disappointing. He tried to make a few moves, with Clonie and Erica they definitely backfired on him.

Hoping to see the end result soon.

My money is on JJ. Beth Shak might not be the best poker player at the table. But, she's one of the most beautiful women on the planet...especially given that she's the mother of 5 children, including a 20 year old! YIKES!

She either won a WSOP event or came 2nd in 07 which = IMO goot. I mean even Jamie gold had to play relatively well to win.

Clonie and Gus should get a room already. They have been smiling back and forth and flirting every day now.

I think we'll see the first person knocked out tonight and it looks like it may be Beth.

Does anyone think Gus is good looking? What is the big deal?

Gus has that confidence and attitude that women are attracted too.

I wont read the thread - dont want to know what happens - but ive just downloaded the shows.

Did anyone catch Gus ask Vanessa, "Do you like it big?" "Just asking?" hahaha hilarious.

I heard that but then he said "yeah, I like it big, too" and she totally cracked up.

Lol @ Nejad's opening comment of the very first one: "It's Gus Hansen and five other women" !

I was surprised by JJ being the first to get knocked out.

I think Clonie wants it to be just her and Gus heads-up for some poker after dark.

The last episode is tonight and there are 5 left so we'll be seeing a lot of "Dammit All-In" tonight.

It's been my favorite POD. Not surprised JJ first one out. Clonie is playing great, I think this one is hers to lose. Also surprised at how tight Gus has played. I think they should try this format again. Think how funny it would be for Helmuth or Matasow to be spanked by these girls.

I've enjoyed this PAD more than others too. Yes, Clonie is playing pretty good dispite being flustered by Gus

I would love to see Hellmuth or Matasow or Tony G up against 5 girls. It definitely would be funny to see the women lay a whopping on them.

I couldn't tell if Clonie's comments about Gus were serious or tongue-in-cheek.

I had a feeling Vannesa would take this down. She played really well. Clonie did too so it was good she was heads up vs Rouso.

Gus had some really amazing suckouts. The runner runner J's for quads with his Ace kicker was sick.

I hope to see another PAD like this soon.
