I really do not understand this move - On freeroll perhaps but on money game (even if only 6$) what is the point?

I think that you are correct - Lets say I have 2 suited cards Diamonds as an example and in the flop+turn I have 2 more diamonds (so now total 4 diamonds) do I call an opponent's all in (i.e. someone on the table makes a raise that is causing me to all in)??
Usually I fold (unless I also have a strong pair) as the statistics in this case are against me - So I fold..

if you think there a difference between a 3 and 6 dollar sng your mistaken these limits will not show the cream of the crop. sounds to me like your a novice at best. try lower limits then move up until then read a few books

You have an 18% chance of improving. Is the other player's giving you 6 to 1 pot odds or better? If not, the correct decision is to fold. If you are in a freeroll and you're playing bingo maybe it's time to go with the donkeys and call.

Its purely a hit and hope situation.

They just hope to hit the flush with no thought about playing the hand properly and seeing what develops.

It is so frustrating when you come up against people like that because the sad fact is they actually think they are playing the game right and that if they hit they played a good hand...

Nothing you can do against them really. Just hope they bust out early at the first all in call.
