ouch... my cousin.... why BRM is so important.
My cousin just called me.
5 weeks ago, he had $70 in his Pokerstars account. Friday he just broke $350 and was feeling hot. He moves to $50NL feeling ballsy. 6 bust outs and two days later, he's got $50 and change left and is forced to move back down to $2NL. Learn from his mistake. 5 weeks of smart playing/upswing gone in 2 days time. Last edited by john003 : 12th July 2009 at 4:06 PM. |

A few months ago I won $1 on a pokerstars freeroll and got it up to about $50 in less than a week. I was feeling great and unstoppable, so I go to a ring table 10/25 cent cash table and buy in w/ maximum $25. I start out well that lost those $25 and put in my remaining BR and lost it all. This can happen to anyone. I wasn't really angry or sad because I was still amazed that I got my BR over $50 from starting off w/ just $1. I learned the hard way, and probably will do it again in the future.
