Other peoples actions Hi All Sometimes when other people, dont use their brains and mess it up for others.. also the ones who keep on repeately bluffing througout .. but then i guess there are other rooms.. Also some clearly need to go to beginners school as they have no clues whats so ever.. And some i think ruin it cus they have so much money they just play the real money rooms for actuall fun, which means they dont play seriously as they dont care if they loose or win as its fun to them... f.k

I hate to pile on but the definition of a good game is one where bad players are playing. That's how you make your profit. If they didn't suck out sometimes than they wouldn't keep playing and then what would you do? Just keep playing solid and you will get their money. Good luck.

re: Other peoples actions poker I usually spend about 20-25 hands watching a table before I join it to make sure there are bad players there. Then I grind to pick my spots and nail em. Every once and awhile they will suck out on you and you'll get a bad beat but that what keeps those n00bs on the table.

A common misconception by new players is that they would do better against good players. I used to think this as well, but than realized I was wrong. If you can't win against bad players, how on Earth do you expect to win against great players? Yes bad players will win some of the time, but their luck will run out eventually and there stack should be yours if you play a solid game. Even the top pros go on loosing streaks..it's inevitable. Skill>Luck in the long run.

LOL That was one of the first books I bought. I hope you read others books also as that was a horrible book. To OP, as others have said, when you find a table where the people need to learn how to play and have no clue that IS the table you want to be at. |
