Just would like an opinion on my HUD for player preferences. If you wouldn't mind looking at it and giving me your input that would be awesome. And if anyone wants to try it out I can e-mail the XML file.

I'm no expert, but thats a lot of info to have on your HUD at one time? If youre happy with it then great, but personally I would drop the last 3 lines and just check that info on the pop up if you need it?

I'd suggest using your popups more and your display a little less. You can make the HUD more immediately useful imo by identifying what you want to be able to exploit across most players in your games, and relegate everything else to the popups.

I was actually pretty impressed w a HUD I saw in a DC coach's video:

Name, Hands
VPIP, PFR
3bet, Fold to 3bet
Flop Cbet, Turn Cbet
Fold to flop cbet, fold to turn cbet

I don't use this config, but what impressed me was that these are the stats he most actively uses to exploit his opponents - everything else is organized in popups - and it's a very clean look.

Yeah wow... that is a lot of data on the screen at once! Like sylcbnew said, you only need the important details, then use the pop up for everything else. I don't know how you'll remember what all of those stats are without having to mouse over them. You want something that only requires a quick glance and then you can drill down to details if something sticks out.

I have been attempting to tweak my HUD, however it really REALLY tilts me that HEM won't work on Play Money Tables... I want to adjust everything before I actually sit down at a real money table. I want to ensure where it is at on the screen is good, what stats I have are good, colors, ect....

Like sylcbnew's example from a DC coach video, that is the exact setup I am using (I copied from the same video)... However I need to adjust my colors/thresholds. I hope you don't mind but I copied your thresholds to help me adjust! :)

There are two very popular applications used in online poker, HEM and PT3, that have a Heads Up Display that shows statistics about players at the table based on hands you've played w those players. As you play more hands with those players, the statistics become a picture of how they play the game, what their habits are, and how they handle certain kinds of situations. Sean has a screenshot above showing his HUD configuration - it's the black boxes w all the numbers in them. The opening post is a text description of all the numbers in the black boxes.

For more info, check out this thread: https://www.cardschat.com/f49/10k-post-micro-stakes-full-ring-112836/ or visit the website for HEM http://www.holdemmanager.com/

Yes, definitely some information overload going on there. I don't see how you can possibly keep up with it, especially when multi-tabling where a HUD does you the most good.

I've actually been meaning to clean mine up, and it's only 1+2 rows. Here's my cash layout that I'm playing 25NL with right now:

hem_hud.png

Those numbers are:

VPIP/PFR/AF/Steal/fSteal
Cbet/fCbet/3b/f3b/CR/WTSD/W$SD

Never did complete all the color coding, and I need to tweak some of them, but it has served me well. I have a slightly different one for tourneys.
