Online Strength of Players Rating

Got together with 5 other full time players and signed up for a bunbch of sites. Than we got together and rated the strength of each site after playing 5 thousand hand each on every site.

Strongest Sites
#1 Fulltiltpoker.com - You can find tables here with all solid players. Rarely more than one weak player will be at a table. Great site for good players who like to "Out Play Others"

#2 Pokerstars.com - You can find some good games here. No where near the Talent as Fulltilt but still much stronger than other sites.



Weakest Sites
#1 Pokerroom.com
#2 Absolutepoker.com
#3 Partypoker.com

All these sites tables are filled with weak play. At these sites the game are not even poker. They become closer to Keno. A raise means nothing. Any two cards are played by these Gamblers and if suited they are good enough to call raises and reraises with. I saw a guy call 4 bets with 7,4 suited on Absolute.
You will find someone at almost every table that plays all hands. Many will even play them to a showdown regardless that all the have is a Jack high. These sites are not the place to be for good solids players. You can't out play anyone here. They don't know they should fold.


So if you are a Solid Player, stick with the Top 2 sites. If you are there to just Gamble and play any suited cards etc. Than the place to gamble is the weakest 3. Keep in mind if you are one that plays any suited cards, stay off of the top 2 sites, especialy Fulltilt, you will lose you bankroll there.

Nice post, but 5000 hands really isn't a large enough sample to make any assumption about the strength of the sites players. Also, this is kind of an arbitrary ranking, because it doesn't lend any consideration to different limits or types of games. You could find very loose tables at one site at 2/4 but they may tighten up huge at 3/6 or 5/10 which makes ranking any site based on 5000 hands at one level playing one game kind of pointless.

There are also program that will track games, you don't even have to be there. It will keep all the stats on players.



Doesn't realy matter on this forum anyways. Most here are Freerollers and some Tourney/S-N-G. So the Cash games don't mean anything to the Majority here.

Pacific has the worst players on the net by far, probably Ultimatebet the best from what I've seen.

Seriously, if you like money, go play at Pacific. Their software absolutely sucks (slow, you can't multitable, etc etc) but the players are terrible.
