Online PokerStars Challenge - First to a million in Play Money

I'm starting with the min. amount of play money at Poker Stars and if anyone would like to join me in a race to a million.....let's have some fun?! You can accumulated it anyway you want providing that you played in a ring, mtt or sng to win the chips. You'll be on scout's honor that you didn't "cheat". We'll post screen shots daily of the progress. Anyone?

I have no real money....etc. to play with, so this is the best I could do for temporary excitement. lol

PokerStarsPokerStars is one of the best poker sites on the internet. They accept US players and using PokerStars marketing code CARDSCHAT you get a $75 bonus.

PartyParty Poker is probably the best known online poker room. Use the Party Poker bonus code CC150 for a 30% upto $150 deposit bonus.

Hmmmm, hillarious wsorbust my only problem is that is like takin a step back after everything I learned here. I just left play chips for "real" I don't know if I could go back to playin like that again. Is this something Pokerstars is puttin on, or you. What does the person who reaches a million first get, or is this just for fun. Inquirey minds want to know.
What is the minimum amount of chips your starting with?

Oh, no. It's just something I came up with. Don't even think about going back to play chips if you just left for real.

They start you at 1k.

That's a fun idea for a contest. I will not be up to the challenge since I mostly play the freerolls at PokerStars. But if you're up for some play money HORSE, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Low or Razz, let me know!!! I need to sharpen my skills in those games and it'd be fun to play against fellow CCers.

Stars.

At say... in approx 24 hours (according to the time stamped on this post) you can post a screen shot of your progress in this thread. No worries if you post hours late or a head of time until you actually make it to a Mill. Also, if you don't start with approx. 1mill in chips it would be nice that you take screen shot of the chips you started with...

I'm not going to go crazy and play 18 hours a day or anything to try and win. I hope no one else does either...cause that's nuts! But it's ok if it happens. If it goes by too fast, then I'll think up something to elongate the experience for next time

Here's my chips as of now, in the pic below. I would need 1,003,130 to win the race....for example. Anyone else can join in, if it's within the next day or so! See if we all can do it!

I'm a little ahead of you guys... Started playing about a month ago. About 1/2 of the money is from the 100/200 high stakes tables and the rest is from 9 person NLHE SnGs, Omaha HL, 5 card draw, etc. All real, I didn't have a buddy transfer me play money or anything like that.

Have fun. Good luck to all.

IMHO Playing at play money tables does more harm than good for most of us.

No, you're good.

You can reload back to 1k in chips as many times as you want.

Ty...and I think you're right, but I won't be playing in real money any time soon. As for the others...that's their choice. I hope it doesn't screw them up too much.

Join in. Anyone's still welcome...

If you're below 1k try going to a ring table and hitting the "sit" button on one of the seats, and it should say the cashier reloaded your chips back to 1k. Then you can leave the table without sitting down or playing if you prefer. For some reason they took the reload feature out of the cashier.

aw....you party poker pooper! You stayed up all night!? lol Nice Job!

Well, that lasted far shorted than expected. . . hmmm...Probably should figure out a better format with time limits or something.

I suppose it really isn't fair if you start out with higher than 1k. . . b/c of the "multiplication factor". A second 1st place trophy is still up for grabs!?

o.k. what happened here, what happened to starting 24hrs from this post, I would say that would disqualify Girl Gamer, unless she starts over again(sorry) I was up all night but didn't figure it started till 11:05pm tonight.
And if it only takes one night for 1 milliion maybe you should consider 5 million.

DID I MISS SOMETHING

if and when you do, if you wanna trade it in for real money, i highly reccomend Buy or Sell PokerStars Play Money Chips ... Todd and Stan are the owners, I know them both personally, and they are very quick and the transfer is easy. They pay $10 per mil. I've used them several times. Tell 'em Lana sent you. Maybe I'll get a referal bonus or something. lol...

Hmm. Na. I'm sorry. It might have been confusing... No one's disqualified...it was for fun! Lana Faith won!

I could be wrong, but isn't $10 a little low?....

I'm not sure how fast it'll take to do....it would probably be pretty easy to multiply 1 million pretty fast if you want to gamble a bit. I guess that's an option some might choose.

NEW RACE! 15 million. Good Luck!

Anyone? I guess no one wants to do it...it's ok. Thanks for participating... or attempting to participate. I'll have to think up something better for next time.

I'm still trying to make it to 1 mill...
