One hand

Do you ever have a run with 1 particular hand good or bad? Today my bad run has come with 88. I had it twice and first time I ran into AA second time it was cracked by 77 when it flopped quads. Third time I had AK against 88 flopped the K but got turned by a set of 8's.

On the good side I keep winning with 76 making straights and 2 pair to crack monster hands.

So all swings and roundabouts I suppose but I wonder sometimes if I should fold hands I am consistently losing with but hey you gotta play to get paid.

i know how u feel i h8 it when you doing really well in a torney or cash table say 3-1 chips or cash and run in to bit of bad luck losing to ak with aa or summing like that but it happens if it didnt happen there would be no point in playing the game as you sed when it on there other foot and you crack someones monster hand you feel on top of the world best feeling ever

Play the game right. Poker does not have luck, favorite hands, or a 'special feeling' about a certain dealt hand. Poker has math and an aspect of gamble that is not controlled by good or evil. We just use the words 'luck', 'heater', 'cold decked', or 'coolered' (etc) to describe chance and varience. Play the game right and everything evens out.

to be honest, in the last month or so, I've lost with AA like 70% of the time. It just keeps getting cracked. Does that mean I will fold AA preflop? Ofcourse not. All bad luck turns around. Hell, might take a year, but it will happen. Just keep playing the correct game, and if you're good at it, you'll end up winning in the long run. Dont let it get to you.

I been having alot of probs winning with pp KK lately. I seriously been thinking I should just fold that when I get it, but I don't think I could get myself to do that. lol Just the luck of the draw, I'm sure.

KK killed me for mebbe a week, no kidding, in tourney crucial hands. I tried raising, limping, whatever... I came to think they were death. Wrote a thread about it, here somewhere... Anyway that cooler just stopped, actually I had forgotten about it a long time ago. Goes to show the cards and player speak over time.

Point being, I got spooked around Ks and I bet I was playing them wrong. Thats where PT can help you see leaks in play...

But it wasnt play... They were out to GET ME!!!
