which one is easier 4 u?
Live or online? I'd have to say i have a upper hand playin online. I find it easier to make money.
I havnt played much live (probs not even 20games), so mayb thats y im more headin towards online. I do prefer live tho.... Oh and do u think its a disadvantage b-in the dealer for the table while playin in a tourney? I don't mind it but mayb i shud b more focused on my game instead of dealing the game. My maths sucks donkey dick too so im a bit slow, spesh workin out side pots and makin change for chips. Annoyin when sum1 calls for 100 and throws in a 1000 chip. |

re: which one is easier 4 u? poker
I prefer to play online right now. I am a tournament player, and most live events(I can afford to play) have poor structures.
Also, it is easier to play on line for me, because the closest casino is 2 hours away. |

I really like the convience and availability of online play, but I prefer the home games the most. I've played them fairly frequently for the past year. I have yet to make a trip to a casino yet. I think that the interaction with people makes the live play much more enjoyable, and you are able to get a better read on a player.

I personally enjoy and prefer live over online. Live u can interact more and certainly get better reads and tales vs. online. But Im the oposite from u as well I've played a ton of live all over the south east and have only played online for the past year and half. And that is only when I have time to get online and play tourneys. I use the online play kinda as a tool for patience in long play for the day I can win or buy my way in to the W.S.O.P.. I hope to get better at online though the more I play and maybe my opinion will change.

I think Live games are easier without question... the general live player is simply not as knowledgeable as the average online player. Thats not to say that there aren't some really good players in the live games, but you can sit down at a 6$ sng on PokerStars and have 3-4 players 'grinding' with 12 tables open, playing solid poker. Same goes for the lower limit cash games. the NL50 game is filled with regulars.
Also, when you're playing live everything is slowed down. You can pay more attention, deliberate more, etc. One thing that I've found is that whenever I'm playing online I try and find other things to do while I'm playing, watching TV/reading forums and such. When I'm playing Live, I'm just playing cards and generally find it easier. |

Online poker is easier for me because I don't have to stack my chips lol. I also like being able to see exactly how much chips a player has left. In live games, I also find blinds increase a lot quicker because you can play a lot less hands in 10-15 minutes blinds rather then playing online.
