Not sure. I think PS is a week or a month. Doyles's makes you send an apology. Maybe you should rethink your trash talk.

It depends on if this is your first offense and how badly you abused their chat laws. Could be anywhere from 1 hour to forever.

Good luck

PS also usually tells you how long in your notice. If they didn't, e-mail them and ask; they'll tell you. Also, if iirc, once your timeout is done, you may actually have to e-mail them to reinstate your chat...or maybe that's at FT. I can't recall.

Anyway, spill the beans...what'd you say?

Yep, that'll do it. Just consider it as a way of now being able to completely focus on your game.

Why not just mute that player's chat if it disturbs you so much? If you have to start with all that kind of chat in return, you are probably on tilt as well, don't you think? That's it! You probably were not thinking!

Agree. The few times someone got me to the point of wanting to reply it ruined the game for me, and my play. Mute would have been better.

lol,
In my case when someone talks about my mom, I tell them she'd probably love it, considering shes been dead 15 years! That has always worked well.

If they get to calling you a donk, first check out their sharkscope, or OPR ratings. Post that in the chat box and more than likely they will stfu. I got great pleasure doing that recently.

I got a chat warning once for telling some freeroll donk that I hope he dies in an AIDS infested fire. Jackass shouldn't have called my shove that covered him with 107 and rivered a flush.

These coments always make me think less of humanity, some guy told the fella who knocked him out of a tourney to "get cancer".

How the hell do you say something like that? Im pretty sure if someone in your family had aids or died in a fire it would be good to hear someone saying that. I mean I understand the frustration but cmon.

Thats my 2cents lol.

But has someone died in a fire contaminated with AIDS?!?!? does that even happen? does AIDS fire exist? is it even possible? I type things like that because it's so over the top I find it funny.

Oh yeah thats ok then silly me,it is ok to say stuff like that because some one beat you at cards, of course its reasonable to say it in that context.

^^^^^^^^^ this is possibly sarcasm, im really not sure anymore.

Maybe im being too sensitive, maybe you are a idiot, maybe both.

I'd say you are being an oversensitive pussy. This is the internet, for all intents and purposes it was conceived as a way to anonymously say things that would normally get the shit beaten out of you in person. Free Speech FTW! Actually, I am quite calm and composed, and quite friendly when I play poker. Unless I'm hungover, I don't take stupidity well when I'm hungover.

Good on you freespeech I believe in and boy im glad I got to hear your opinion, your my new hero, and the internet was created to benifit society and the man who made it doesnt make a penny for it.

Sigh so not even a penny, or in your case a half penny for your thoughts.

Ironically, I also like to report people for chat because it gets them to shut up, but not before the profane shitstorm happens when you notify them that you are going to do it.
