Omaha Players, are you bored with Hold'em?

I've recently been focusing 100% on Omaha Hi. I played NLHE for years but now I can't even watch it on TV. Anyone had this happen?

Not just bored, but frustrated with it. I've had what is probably barely average success with it, but I don't enjoy it. It does not suit my personality, although I've learned the requisite aggression or moves necessary to take advantage of certain situations. Omaha is not only more interesting as a game itself to me, but PL suits me far better.

ya im kinda with you on this. i am a holdem player but its just getting to be too much and honestly over the last 2 months ive done better in omaha games instead of holdem

Correct me if I am wrong but Omaha Hi PL feels like they're less races. It's more about picking the right hands and calculating odds and outs.

Did you guys know that some of the pokers pro you see on T.V actually earn the majority of their money on omaha like Ilari Sahamies "Ziigmund". Poker players I know now a days actually win their money from from pot omaha and it a secret they don't like to discuss. LOL.

I think there are bigger edges in PLO for good players but the variance is just insane.
