You should have doubled through him. Raise his lead into you, he will call with the overpair. Ok, so you called, why bet the HUGE scare card? Maybe he has the flush (semi-bluffed the flop), but you get his money either way then.

Alien your points are all valid if you are playing against a unknown, I wasnt. This player is very very aggressive which is why I like just calling this flop. obviously if I knew she was that strong I would of raised her/him on flop but I didnt think a pocket pair would just call me there. On turn I was trying to coax her into calling which as you can see didnt work.

she was boarderline wreckless which is why she (im assuming its a she) busted out shortly after me. Against this player in this situation from what I knew I play this same way 100% of the time except the turn I think was too much.
