ok a BIG Q on the river card when u got the nuts
ok when the river is down and u know u got the hand locked or u are 90% sure u will win. do u think its a giveaway betting the players rest of stack exactly or does some people see it as some people that bets there stack is just trying to bluff. what u all think? cause i normally always bet there stack on river if i got it notched

all depends on the situation eg chip stacks in terms of blinds and the pot, whether it is tournament or ring game, what type of image you have, what type of image your opponent has, position, how the hand has played out
But generally you rarely want to overbet the pot on the river when holding the nuts, you should have a general idea by the river what hand your opponenet has. Based on this you should be able to put in a suitable value bet, for example if you think they have 2 pair or something like that, you can value bet with a pot size bet, whereas if they have been tanknig and check calling, you may want to put in a 1/4 of pot bet to maximize the chances of being paid off. But as i said earlier, its way to general of a question |
