Odds Quiz

Here is a quiz on the odds of you winning the hand (I will exclude bets so there is no determination if a call is warrented). This is just a test to see how good you are at knowing your odds of winning a hand, not outs. You have the magic program that lets you see your opponents hand so now all you need to do is know when to make a call and what your odds to win are. Assume no one else will enter the hand after you act.

1) You have and goes all-in and it is up to you?
a)45%
b)50%
c)53%
d)58%

2) You have and goes all-in. What is your hand winning %?
a)55%
b)58%
c)62%
d)67%

3) You have and goes all-in. What is your hand winning %?
a)52%
b)57%
c)61%
d)64%

4) You have and goes all-in after the flop.
the board reads What is your hand winning %?
a)55%
b)62%
c)70%
d)75%

5) You have and goes all-in after the flop.
Board reads What is your hand winning %?
a)33%
b)38%
c)41%
d)44%

6) You have Before your turn and have already pushed all-in?
What is your hand winning %?
a)35%
b)41%
c)46%
d)50%

If you like this, I will try and come up with more quizzes to test our skills. Let me know what you think, to hard to easy. I can always find some that are harder. Answers:c d b b d b

Yes, that would probably be best. This is the area of my game where I fall drastically short. What exactly is the formula for determining odds? I have no idea. If I had a formula to work with, I might be able to figure this out!

Not sure of the formula, but we have a link to one in the hand analysis section or just follow this link:

I think the only way to really get better at this is through practice and experience. I will work on some new ones and post Part 2 in a week when I can find 5-8 that will test our knowledge and skill.

P.S. looking at it now one of the answers is wrong anyway, guess I can't read my own scratch pad.

Looking at your answers, it appears that i missed 3 out of 6. But I seem to have been in the ballpark. Oh well.
