No Xmas poker for me!

Hey all

been playing for over a year now and like a lot of you guys cant get enough - will even play through being on tilt.

Major problem in that my p.c. died on friday (just after doubling up with an ace high flush )

With Xmas and moving house i cant afford for the p.c to be fixed until Feb!!!

No problem i thought, ill use the work laptop over crimbo so at least ill get a few hands. I get home and try to hook up only to find our IT dept have removed the relevant access for me to install anything

Tried borrowing a laptop from a work colleague but no joy (surprise)

So, anyone got any tips on how to get through a period of being forced into a position were you cant play??? Been in a bad mood all day and this needs to stop.

Suppose ill continue to log on and check out the fun (and bad beats) you guys are having over xmas!

Merry Xmas

PPParty Poker is the premier online poker games site. The Party Poker bonus codes like CC500 offer a special $500 deposit bonus.

Pacific PokerPacific Poker is the poker room for 888.com casino and is still a favourite, especially amongst new players. They recently updated their software with a sleek and smooth new look which is much better to play.

You`d have to be real careful to delete all trace of your account details/password etc. afterwards, in a public facility or if using any computer to which strangers have access.

Just had a thought, don`t know why I didn`t think of it earlier.

Some poker sites have a no-download version. Party, Pacific, and PokerRoom spring to mind. Maybe that would allow you to play on your laptop (or in a cafe).

I assume you don't have an administrator password, and you can't get one from your techy support guys at work?

You could always reinstall the OS.

Not really. I used to quite like Party, but I`ve barely played there since they banned my American friends.

I have only played the download versions, in any case, so don`t know what the light versions are like.

Try StanJames.com--

That's my favourite poker site, easy to use and clean, and you can have a flash version of poker.

Be careful about that, RedImp. Links to commercial sites are against forum rules. If it follows logically from the discussion in the thread, there is usually no objection to you naming the site (as I did above), but the mods may get cross with you if you post a link.

I know, I can't find a casino near here that runs anything other than 3 or 5 card. Urgh.
