The passwords for the nightly series can be found here http://www.cardschat.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30 or just go to the forum called "cardschat.com passwords". But only players with 15 or more qualityposts have access.
The night series is going to continue every month, and the points start over every month.

I'd like to welcome Lightning36 to the nightly series. He joined yesterday for the first time and was an awesome addition to the game. Very solid player who you better be careful with before trying to go up against. Well played Lightning36, see you around!

Wow - thanks, Freakakanus. It is always good to hear complimentary things from people you know are great poker players.

Started out great but tailed off. Won first place , then second place (heads up) when I called an all in of 4-4 against my A-K -- where was my Ace or King, Titan? lol

Embarrassed myself in my third match, then made a few few poor decisions in my fourth.

These games are great since the competition is so good. I certainly encourage anyone at cardschat.com to give these games a try. Better bring your A game though - you'll need it.

I met Phil at the Ultimate Bet party poker held at the Palms Casino the night before the WSOP main event in 2005. Some of the other Ultimatebet pros were there - Annie Duke, Devilfish, and Antonio Esfandiari, but Hellmuth didn't get there until later. He made a big entrance, of course, grabbed the microphone and made this announcement about how everyone there either loves or hates him.

Funny thing - he was the nicest, friendliest guy in the world, and clearly was more gregarious than the other pros.

If you search in some of my early posts, you'll find that I mentioned how I can't stand people like him who whine and are poor sports. I guess that when you get him away from the game (and the cameras), he appears to be a pretty darn nice guy.
