| New website feedback I'm working on a site where people can post info about home games. Is this something people might be interested in? What are some features that people would like to see? | I really like the concept. I have a few design criticisms (constructive). First, I'd clean up the top bar. The pink line would look better, in my opinion, in the same red color as the red you use in the rest of the site. The logo could be cleaned up some and made a bit bigger. You should want your logo to draw some attention (a bit of branding, you could say) but you don't want it to completely draw away from the content. I'd also include the "I bleed poker" as text in the logo rather than written text on the page. The gradients are a little fuzzy, as well. Its a nice and clean layout. As I said before, it's a great concept. If you'd like any logo/graphic design help let me know, as I do a little design myself. | Thank you, JBellah. We designed the site to be an online community for home game players. Too often I've found myself hosting or attending a game, where just a few more players would make it even better. I appreciate your comments about the design. Do you have any comments or suggestions about the content/features? Thanks again! Quote:

| Thanks. I know there are a lot of poker players out there, beginners and pros, who enjoy nothing more than getting together with a few friends to play anything from a $5 cash game to a $500 tournament. If anyone out there is interested, please check out the site (link on profile) and give me any feedback you have on what sort of content, features, etc. we could include to make the site better. The idea of the site is to be completely user-run, with posting articles, blogs, forums, and chatting. You can share your experiences and get some advice. We're event looking into incorporating competitions with prizes. What do you think? |
